Quality 4k Blu Ray player, good value for price

I purchased a copy of Logan to go with it to play on my 78" Samsung Curved (UN78KS9500FXZA) TV to truly appreciate the difference. One of the best purchases I've made and the sale price of $199.99 fit the budget perfectly

Amazing 4K blu-ray player

Simple plug and play setup, just be sure to buy a new 4K hdmi cable to watch 4K movies. I researched the available players and the Samsung wins on value and performance.

Great 4K Player!

I didn't know what to expect but thankfully it worked out very well. I was happy with he Player, don't need to use my Roku as much anymore as this machine offers streaming, DVD, 3-D, and 4K. The only downside I found and that is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the Player is not region free.

The setup was painless– the K8500 negotiated the proper HDR connection with the TV and I just sat back and enjoyed the show.

A clear step up from standard Blu ray

You can really tell the difference in picture quality compared to a standard Blu ray player. It will definitely improve your movie watching experience.

Good player that matched well with my Sony TV

I read previous reviews and also talked with a Best Buy sales person before making the decision. I've been very happy with the product. All my disks play very well including the old black/white DVD movies. I also enjoy streaming Netflix via my player.

Excellent Picture and Sound!

The sound is noticeably better than my previous Samsung blu-ray player. The only thing I hate is that the 4k blu-ray movies are not full screen and still have the black borders.

I bought this Blu-ray when I bought my new 75" Samsung 4K - 3D TV. I had to replace my old Samsung blu-ray because it wasn't 4K - 3D.

Samsung gets it right

Not only can I watch native 4K, but I can play my 3D movies as well (yes, I'm one of those that has an investment in 3D videos). Leave it to Samsung to get it right!

Picture is great & even the streaming video is good! A bit expensive at normal price, worth it when on sale. I definitely recommend this 4k Blu-ray player!

4K Samsung DVD player: excellent performer

4K DVD Player

I figured I would upgrade my Blu Ray player. I am very pleased with this unit and have always been a loyal Samsung customer. Really love my player!
