We have a Samsung TV and for some reason, I decided to not get a Samsung 4K player originally. I ended up taking back the LG Player as it was very poor when it came to performance. This Samsung 4K player is GREAT! Very easy to navigate and is great with all types of DVD's: the old ones and the new ones.

If you are like me, you have been using your game system go play your movies. Well, I thought it would be better to play movies on something that was made solely for that purpose. The player does exactly what it is supposed to. The only thing I do not like about it, it does not include a hdmi cable. Go get a monster cable, compare the speeds on the cables and make sure you are getting the fastest. Enjoy

This unit has excellent upconvert to 4k and an easy to use intuitive remote control. The downside is the same as the smart TV - setting up the Smart account connections is ridiculously convoluted and requires multiple attempts to link to the account. Once set up, it works well from remote or pnone.

DVD player works great but remote is terrible. Using remote that did not come with unit due to this.

My wife and I were looking for a DVD player since a while but we couldn't decided for anyone. Until we find out this one. It incredible how smoth and fast it works. The price it a litle bit over budget but we are confident it will have long live. We are very happy.

Does a great job with 4K Blu-ray and obviously then Blu-rays and DVDs too. As a bonus, if you have an older TV you can run Netflix through the 4K player and, assuming your cable speed and router/modem are adequate, dramatically decrease load times.

This system is exactly what we needed for physical 4K playback with Sonos 5.1. The unit allows you to select Dolby Digital output (conversion from DTS) to give 5.1 with Sonos (as it does not support DTS). It also runs the VUDU app which supports 4K content.

Using this for dvd's and streaming......expecially 4k HDR streaming from Netflix. Works like a charm. The BB guy did not set up wi-fi or show any features.....but I have come to expect very little from the Geek Guys who come to the house.

A lower grade Samsung Blu Ray model did not provide an adequate signal to make an internet connection with my equipment closet behind the MBR wall, where my TV was mounted. This was a good investment to keep the clutter out of my master bedroom.

Unit is slim nd compact, easy hook upaaand easy to use.

I wanted a 4K player to go along with a new LG SUHD 75" TV. When I watch 4K content from my cable provider, it looks great. 4K content from a disc on this player looks pretty similar to Blu Ray, so I can't say that this player is worth the money, but it could also be a content or TV issue.

It plays 4K DVD's fine. Have no real issues with it.

This Blu-Ray Player is a great addition to my Samsung Q80, Its a great paring LOL. The system also can play older DVD’s from a different format. I’m very impressed wit the fact that to can really see the 4K content.
