Let me begin with what is good (as my mother taught me.) This UBD M-9500 4K UHD Bluray player (2017 model) supplies a great 4K image and has all the Apps you could want (thanks Samsung) as does last years model the UBD K8500 (2016 model). Now the BAD. I had purchased THIS player to Upgrade and REPLACE my other Bluray players. Hooked it up to my Sony 79X900B and loved the picture with my 4K disks. When I tried to play one of my 3D blurays, it did not work so I tried another that didn't work as well. Started doing research and find that this player will NOT SUPPORT 3D blurays (last years model will) This is Samsung's the top of the line 4K Bluray player and should be backwards compatible with all the other formats that came before it. ALL the other 4K UHD Bluray players on the market (Sony, Panasonic, LG, Oppo, etc) have 3D playback capability. Now that I have done MUCH MORE research, I find that this is the ONLY 4K UHD player that will not play your 3D blurays. With all the advancements in 3D imaging for movies and the great 3D Blurays and movies coming out (just bought and watched - Doctor Strange on 3D bluray) and it looks FANTASTIC. As well as Fantastic Beast's and Where to Find Them in 3D which adds a whole dimension to the movie watching experience (Also looking forward to Kong: Skull Island). There are a huge number of people who love 3D and have extensive collections of 3D disks (I have somewhere over 50 myself) and I don't understand why Samsung (formerly a leader) would be the only maker who's player doesn't support all backwards compatible formats. So, as for myself, I will probably purchase the Sony model X-800 which also happens to be $100 cheaper? Go figure???

I waited and researched the best blu ray for your dollar. It has 2 HDMI ports which most only have one this allows for more versatility

I like the 4K player and this is a replacement for the previous 4K model because the other one was over heating and stopping. So far, this model hasn't had that problem because I have it raised up to allow more breathing.

It would get 5 star if its control is easier to use. Whenever I move so-called mouse cursor, it is very difficult to control it and to put it to the icon I want to click. However, it is good player itself.

It doesn't support Dolby Atmos, which is a bit of a let down. If you want this feature look to other Brands as I don't think there will be any changes. Otherwise the playback quality wise is straight up great

Great product ,just make sure before you buy it , that you TV have enough HDM's I had to buy a new TV cause my Samsung TV only had 2 HDM,

This is certainly a under rated superior quality UHD Blu Ray united Samsung I highly recommend for the price and quality

This device is great. Way better quality than streaming movies. Definitely worth buying the disks

If your into smart apps, its the best. If your into picture quality, get oppo (discontinued) or panasonic.

I use it for Blu Ray watching and streaming. Like sleek remote in particular. 4K resolution with my OLED TV looks fantastic.

Bought this to pair with my Samsung tv and never once regretted it. This blue rat works great and paired instantly with my tv.

Updated my older Samsung player with another one but now capable for 4k HDR to match my TV capabilities.

I’m love this! I had a regular Blu-ray player for years, but this makes me wish I had upgrade sooner!

I cannot say that I have noticed a big difference watching the 4k ultra HD movies on this player, but I am sure that as soon as we play a regular Blu-ray disc on this player I'll notice;)

This Blu-Ray player offers great resolution, and we enjoy watching our DVDs and Blu-Rays on this unit.
