I bought this to finally enter the UHD sphere, and it was available for a good price. However, I found the sharpness to be lacking, and the colors were “cool”... in other words, there was a pale blue tint to everything, which was a really bummer when trying to game or do the Internets or just be on the computer period. I returned it and bought an Asus monitor, and I’m very happy with it.

This is a very dynamic screen. Forget the PC laptops and the PC towers. Mac is where it is at and you will not find a better monitor. I use to be a PC guy and they are nothing but junk. This Samsung 4K monitor is truly the best I have seen and bought. Sorry Dell! I have dumped your product and gone Mac.

This is a beautiful evenly lit display with clarity, rivaling some of the Apple Thunderbolt displays. My purchase does not take advantage of the full 4k resolution quite yet because I'm not on any devices that support HDMI 2.0 (using it with a early 13 MBPro). Even with the lack of 4k content transport at the moment, I felt it necessary to make this purchase to transition instead of sticking with a 2k display mainly due to the price point. Color accuracy is good on my eye. If I could make one suggestion I would love to see the contrast ratio increased in line with the U32D970Q, or perhaps a mid-grade model introduced that had the same Gray Scale and Gamma functions built in.

This is the 2nd purchase of this same monitor for my 15" MacBook Pro (Using a Belk Thunderbolt docking station). The monitor seems to perform well and of good quality. The mounting holes allowed me to mount my monitors on a pole release much-needed desk space.

An excellent monitor for high resolution usage. A great addition to a workspace for art and editing, and the perfect choice of gaming monitor for someone with a GPU that can output at 4k. Remember that your system needs to be able to output at 4k in order to use it. The monitor is sturdy, and has a generous amount of vertical tilt range. If it happens to sag, the stand should be easily tightened. For gamers, note that it still refreshes at 60hz max if you're not utilizing FreeSync, and that FreeSync still (as of this review) isn't compatible with Nvidia hardware. This monitor will still work the same as any other with a non-AMD card, but they can't utilize its FreeSync functionality. FreeSync works with framerates up to 75 fps. The DisplayPort 1.2 cable that comes with the monitor is fully sufficient for the monitor's capabilities - you don't need to get a 1.3 or 1.4, as you won't benefit from the upgrade.

I am using this monitor for two separate Windows 10 computers (laptop and tablet) . So far I have had no issues.

This is superb quality when I hook up my MacBook Pro to it. It's UHD in its settings. When I hook up my work PC it's only 1920x1080 so it's a little pixelated. I need to work with the settings. Nice Samsung quality, though, as always. GREAT size too!

The view is magnificent. The attached monitor looks so much better than the usual HD monitor. It is almost too clear.

This monitor is extremely bright and makes a great addition to my MacBook Pro. The eye saver mode comes in handy at night, but I'm surprised there isn't a light sensor so the display can automatically adjust. In addition, the stand is pretty basic for such a nice display. Even so, I'm keeping it on my desk and would recommend it.

We bought this TV as a second TV for our bedroom. We love it. It has great picture and sound quality. We like the smart TV aspect which our Den TV does not have. In all we are pleased with our purchase and would recommend this TV. We tend to like Samsung products.

Use this monitor for work and for gaming & for the price you really can't beat it. Wasn't expecting much but I am really pleased with this purchase. Games, Movies & spreadsheets all looks great on this thing. After not having a widescreen monitor I now know I will never go back.

I got this specifically to play Xbox one on and it doesn’t disappoint. You’ll need an Xbox one x to see the full power and beauty for 4K. For computer gaming, well i don’t have much info there since it’s strictly for my Xbox lol but the price is great for what it is.

I use this monitor every day That I am playing games since it has such good colour along with it being 4k which allows content consumption on the side. This monitor does wall mount but sadly this monitor is not HDR so you can not turn on HDR in games to get darker blacks or brighter brights.

I have been watching this monitor for a while and when it went on sale, I jumped at it and bought 2. The picture quality is excellent! I cannot believe how crisp and clear my games look compared to my old monitor! I highly recommend this monitor!

This gigantic monitor allows you to split the display into two with using different input sources such as MAC on the one side, windows on the other. Very useful feature. 4K resolution is also good for eyes!

The picture quality is far superior to anything I have seen short or $1000. The detail is incredible. If I had to be critical at all with this, I would say a little more richness in color would be nice, but if you turn the brightness down it reduces the washout look. I should have bought two.

For an office PC, this has greatly upped productivity. There's enough screen room for me to operate 4 windows together without making the text too small or the field of vision too narrow. It seems a bit under-powered on graphics for gaming or video, but great for office functionality.

I am no techie, so you won't find alot of specifications about the product from me. However, I finally can work at home and see the correct resolution from my work PC. I use a VPN client to work off my desktop at work. Before I was a slave to my work display resolution. I had to manipulate Excel and other programs to be able to see what I was working on. Not so with this monitor. Everything is the same size as my work desktop display or even bigger. I wish I could say I use it for gaming or 4k video, but I don't. Thank you Samsung. You always produce a wonderful product.

Picked this up for my son to use in his final year of college versus simply using the screen on his laptop. he is tremendously happy with it. Great clarity and good size but not overwhelming large. Picked it up while it was on sale at BB.
