So I just couldn't convince myself to not get a 4K. I truly could barely tell a difference in the 4K monitors compared to the FHD sitting right next to them. I know the resolution is better with 4K so that was my selling point. I spent twice as much on this monitor as I could've on a FHD, but it was still cheaper than every other 4K monitor Best Buy had, which I truly appreciate Samsung for doing. This company is doing a great job for consumers. The other brands I feel are competing against Samsung, not each other. I wish the bezel with thinner, or a little more modern, the LG looked better, but you can always go up a step, until you can't, but I didn't want to spend that much.

Good product. I think this is the best tn monitor ever built. Very close to ips quality, not to mention 1ms response time.

I use this with my Surface Pro 3 docking station and am very pleased. It is large enough that I don't need two monitors and the color and detail look great. It has an eye saver mode that is dimmer than the normal mode and I have not found it to work for me due to the light in the room, but that doesn't affect my opinion of the monitor. I do wish the monitor stand allowed it to be raised and lowered, but it is at an acceptable level, so no big deal really.

sitting side by side with my asus 1920x1080 at 120hz, the picture quality far surpasses the old 24 inch monitor. images are much more crisp and generally easier on the eyes. Other than just being used to having a second monitor at this point I don't feel like I actually need it anymore.

While $600 for a monitor seems excessive to most I can assure you once you see this monitor and it's wonderful picture on your desk you will have no regrets. Since I've ventured into the 4k gaming arena I can tell you titles such as Grand Theft Auto 5 look stunning and the visuals and color this monitor deliver are fat better than the asking price. I only have one gripe about this monitor which seems to be a typical issue with this monitor which is the flickering. When Samsung shipped these monitors the included Displayport cable doesn't play well with the monitor and causes very minor flickering which to 95% of people you wouldn't notice. Once you change out this cable all is well it just seems some of the Displayport cables they shipped had issues. It's not really a negative as in terms of a 4k monitor under the $700 region is a real deal and with the 1MS response time gaming is an utter joy.

This screen is beautiful of course for the price point. Only thing is the vieweing angles are not the best but hey most of the time you are directly in front of it. 4k gaming looks very nice!

This has only been the second monitor I have purchased. I returned it because I was used to an older Asus I had and accidentally dropped it... oops. Anyway when it came to no leg input it was a beast I’m so used to lag input i was having a hard time getting used to playing first person shooter on it because the screen did exactly what I told it to do at all times.. I returned it solely because the viewing angles are terrible if your not directly infornt of the thing u can’t see the display or seems off... and it’s a black & white to ratio monitor whatever that means. Which it focusss more on shades to create colors mixing only the basics like a painter mixing black paint with white paint to get the color gray... this allows the monitor to not have to push out extreamly amounts of color from every single pixel like some of these other monitors that focus more on picture and extream color density over actual frame rates and leg input. It has a 1ms response time which is obviously the best you can get. If I remember correctly it is a 75hmz and a native 4K display without high dynamic range.. most natives which r harder to find then not rarely do any upscsling and is actually 4K. If I tried putting it on 1080p to match whatever I’m playing which on a pa4 pro there is no way to connect the display port needed to get it to sync and utilize your computer or counsel which is a feature called freesynctech technology. Another big plus. I’d ur solely gaming on. It and playing FPS shooters and want to compinsate quality for speed. That’s a decision u need to make. I on the other hand want both which is in a different review

You might be tempted to overlook this as a TV monitor. But DON"T! I plug this into the HDMI port on the cable box and run the audio to the computer system. It replaced a larger 32" Smart TV because it is much clearer at close viewing range. Before, I could see "hair" on heads. Now I can see the "hairs" on their heads. Since there are two HDMI inputs, you can hook up a Blu-Ray or smart device to it. The sharpness, wonderful non-saturated colors, and size make it the right monitor for my situation.

I purchased this monitor along with a new performance desktop from HP at my local Best Buy store in Jacksonville, FL. The combination of the PC and monitor provides greater horse power and size of screen as compared to the 5K iMAC for a much lower price. This monitor is outstanding with the HP desktop and WINDOWS 10 which supports native 4K mode (UHD). The video is ultra sharp which makes it real easy to read, watching NHL hockey games is a pleasure. The only downside is that this monitor does not have any speakers in it (which I prefer) but if you are looking for audio to go along with video be prepared to add speakers to your system.

The monitor was easy to set up and it's 4K possibilities enhance viewing. Both my wife and I are really enjoying the crispness of the monitor.

I have an AMD R9 390X graphics card that takes advantage of free sync and works extremely well with this monitor. 4K gives you a lot more screen real-estate to work with whether you are gaming, photo editing or using for video or music production. Excellent monitor.

Works great for PC gaming. Keeps up with frames on my 4gb Radeon 4k card veryxwell

The screen is great! And for this price you get a 60 refresh rate with display port. Only bad thing is.. the STAND. I wish it was more flush to the surface it was on.

I used this monitor as a lower cost substitute to much more expensive NEC PA272W where the higher color spec's of the NEC really were not needed. The picture is great and for half the cost of the NEC everyone was happy. The image being shown is not a gamer image but a low speed monitoring system showing numbers and graphs most of the time and in this role it is serving very well. I'm not sure how it would work in a more dynamic role.

The UE590 is a great value for the price. Image is sharp, colors are good, and response time is excellent. This monitor easily compares to other brands costing much more. My only negative is that the bezel is quite wide (3/4"), so in a multi-monitor setup you end up with a 1.5" gap.

I purchased 2 of these to use at work for my Surface Pro 4. The build quality is great, and the picture is sharp, bright, and vibrant. I decided to switch from 4 24" 1080P monitors to go with the 2 4k 28" units and I am happy with the choice. My only concern with these monitors is that one of them loops between sleep/wake when plugged in to my Surface dock. I have read this is a known issue and is on Microsoft's end, not the monitors fault. I'll be buying two more of these for use at home!

Was looking to upgrade to larger screen for photo processing and broke bad and purchased 4K definitely makes a difference.

I work as an online researcher from home. I plug my laptop into the monitor via HDMI cable and detach whenever I need to work away from home. While I'm home, this screen gives me the ability to have up to 4 full-size windows open at a time. When I'm making a large spreadsheet on excel, I can see it in it's entirety. Definitely we'll worth the purchase.

Bought this to work on editing with my 15.6 laptop. Incredible display and very accurate rendering. Easy to connect.
