Word of advice: Buy them when you get them washer and dryer. These are fantastic. Makes using and maintaining so easy.

The only reason is to raise the machines to see in them better. We are a tall family. Honestly I have never opened the pedestals to use the storage . Cheap plastic drawers .

Simply makes the laundry room complete. The down side is, don’t expect to fit family sized detergents.

Thank you for sharing your experience with our washer. Samsung always intends to provide great products and satisfaction to our customers. And I understand you want family-sized detergents to fit in it. You should always read the detergent manufacturer’s guidelines for the correct amount of detergent to use. Usually, the amount is based on the load size. Even if the manufacturer instructions say to put an amount that exceeds the Max Fill line, you should NOT exceed the line. You can switch to a more concentrated detergent or run a smaller load size, so you don't use too much.
We have some guidelines for you, so you'll know how to do everything right and your clothes always come out clean.

Great but likely will arrive damaged

However, in communication it was not done. The gentleman that delivered the washer and dryer originally were amazing. They did not have the two bottom pieces that we wanted nor did they have the steam kit that we paid for. I went to the store, purchased the bottom pieces and schedule delivery. When the two gentleman came out to install these two bottom pieces, They did not have knowledge of the steam kit. We showed them the receipt and they made us pay AGAIN $35. Then they shoved the washer so far back that it broke something and when they left, they turned the water off and kept it off. It was when my husband turned the water back on. He saw the laundry room flooded. We reached out to your service they did come back and correct it. It’s just unfortunate. They didn’t report it to begin with. It’s ridiculous that I had to pay for a kit, not once but twice. I will really question buying future appliances from Best Buy.

Great for added height, so-so for storage

Does that well. Only thing I don’t like is you can’t store detergent in the pullouts, as they’re not high enough. What else am I gonna put in there?

OMG no more bending, both my husband and I are so happy to remove from one machine to the other without complaining "OH MY BACK HURT, OH I HURT TO REACH INSIDE" Those days are GONE! We will never ever go back to not having a pedestal.
