I got this to use on my car audio - having trouble getting music downloaded that is compatible with my car system

It was a gift for my girlfriend's dad. He Seem to enjoy for older people or young kids this is good for them.

This is a simple cooking device without a lot of the odd settings that almost everything has these days. This is a nice little mp3 player! Also, it is a very satisfying throw-back item to use with actually employing physical buttons. If you have someone older who is more comfortable with physical buttons than a touch-screen, this is an excellent way to go in a fairly empty field of products. The set-up is easy to use, and you can pretty easily get audio onto the player just by connecting a micro-USB cord between it and your computer. As for exercising with it, this is definitely where it excels. If you don’t want to carry your phone while running, you have a great option in this little device. I’ve dropped my phone while running before. Even with wired headphones (as would be required here), the momentum of the phone just pulls out the wire and the phone is barely slowed before hitting the pavement. With this light-weight player, I’ve actually bumped into something while working out (the only way I can imagine this coming off since the clip is just as big as the player), and the player was so light that it didn’t even pull off of the headphone wire. I was using headphones with a right-angled connection, so this may have helped, but still, I wouldn’t expect any real damage from the occasional drop. As for the interface, it is very intuitive. You can also remove options from the menu if you know you won’t be using them. For example, there is a folder for podcasts. Since a podcast isn’t going to download directly to this, I knew I wouldn’t listen to them on here. Through the menu, I was able to remove that option from the menu so I don’t have to scroll past it repeatedly. As a bonus (which really should be available on any phone), you also have a radio tuner in this little player. You should be good to go, even if you manage to listen to everything you can save on here. All in all, I’d say this is a nice player. If you have any worries about dropping your phone while on a run, this is a great option. Or, if you have someone older in your life who isn’t comfortable with a touch-screen but still wants to listen to music (and buying a walk- or disc-man can be fairly expensive these days), this is an excellent option as well.

It seems like SanDisk has lowered the bar for their mp3 players. This used to be my go-to brand, but I think that has changed. The plus - Bluetooth, big minus - no memory card slot.

Instructions for this item VERY confusing. Had to go online to get basic idea how to operate unit. Took almost 1 day to figure out how to use it.
