The mp3 player works great but the whole reason for this was to be able to clip it on. Well...I bought this towards end of July and Sept 7th, it broke.

This piece of smoldering trash can fire broke the second day of use. Complete garbage.

This device didn't work and when I brought it back best buy wouldn't allow me to return it. Don't buy this device or from best buy.

This is a wonderful product. I bought this for my special needs brother who is not allowed to have a cell phone. It was very easy to add music and has a ton of space. He finds it very easy to use and listens to it every night. Thank goodness MP3 players are still being made!!!

Quit working after 3 months. Was putting songs on it and now its just dead.

The function for the price is excellent for this device. I tried all the functions and although you do have to get used to the user interface, it is not complicated. I found the FM radio was handy and the sound was very nice at this price point. The most important feature was the ability to play your MP3 song lists. You are able to easily access and organize your songs. It is small enough to put in a shirt pocket or pants pocket as you jog. It is solid construction and you can't go wrong choosing this one.

This product is not worth the money and I would not purchase another one

The form factor is small, which allows you to carry it around in your pocket with ease. It's great for loading some songs from your music library, connect the unit to your portable Bluetooth speaker, and listen to music without having to use your phone. At times the unit would lock up and the navigation would not respond as I'd like. Perhaps a future update or the next version would address these issues. They don't happen often, but they have happened to me a few times.

Are fruit branded products too expensive? Are you hard on things with screens or dislike touch screens? These little Sandisk music players are for you! Build quality is what you would expect from SanDisk - lots of hard durable plastic and small but functional screen. Controls are operated by the four-way button with a center to select and a separate back key that sort of intrudes on the screen. Because they're solid-state (that's what SanDisk does) they can have tiny batteries that last for a respectable amount of time. I'm loving the abilities of this newest generation to also - do voice recording, recognize and play audiobooks, and the inclusion of a radio tuner for when you get tired of all the tunes you have on it. Well made, not too expensive, and easy to use and load music onto. The included earbuds are functional but a little bit too lightweight. Also no Bluetooth, internet capabilities, or camera on this guy, but that's not missed at this price point.

I have no complaints about this device, it is a basic MP3 player. Unless you have music downloaded and stored on your PC, you can’t really use it, except there is an FM radio built in to use. There is no way to wirelessly get music to the device, you must connect a Micro USB cable to transfer music. In today’s world of Apple Music, Google Play, Spotify, and other streaming options, this device is outdated and is really for those who want to transfer music or podcasts from a PC to a device. The sound on this device is pretty good, The earbuds that are included are not. I have much better sounding earbuds and it makes a difference. No wireless option for earbuds, which is really too bad. It’s been years since I’ve had to use wired earbuds, and the convenience of wireless is so much better. If you have a large collection of music stored that you want to transfer to a device, and don’t care about having a wireless option for earbuds, and don’t want to spend a lot of cash. This is a decent device to store and listen to music.

Radio sounds great, my music sounds great, easy to use, and lightweight.

I love my little SanDisk MP3 player, It plays all day long while I work and keeps me going. I use it for audio books of all types from romance to self help, and science fiction to crime drama. My last one ran for several years before it quit. Hope this new one holds up as well. Looking forward to many more books. My latest favorite book is "Plays well with others"

glad these still exist. good battery life and the latest model seems to hold up better than previous ones. shuffle mode is limited and often repeats same range of songs - my only complaint but it's not a big deal.

First off, the removal of the micro-SD slot is a HUGE fail. I have no idea how people are enjoying the 8GB versions of this player. I had the original Clip, Clip + and Clip Sport players and this latest version, Clip Sport Go, removes the micro-SD card option. The 3.5mm headphone jack is now located on the bottom of the player, where the clip opens up. Worst place to put the headphone jack. Also, this isn't 2009, it's 2019. The fact that they haven't made this player Bluetooth compatible is baffling. I bought a cheap player very similar to the Sandisk Sport Go and it supports Bluetooth very well. This Sport Go player is a big step backwards and still trying to live in the time of a decade ago.
