I used the SanDisk Clip Zip daily during my gym workouts...(90 minutes a day)...Battery life is excellent...(charge once a week)...sound quality is excellent, SDHC expansion slot allows me to store literally hundreds of albums on a single device. The best part is, for gym use, the unit is small, light weight and the strong clip allows me to position the unit anywhere on my clothing. While working on the treadmill, I’ve seen hundreds of iPhones going flying off the end of the treadmill. With the SanDisk, I have never once had it drop off my clothing. Excellent value for the money!

The SanDisk MP3 is a great value and easy to use MP3 player. This is the first one I ever owned. It was fairly easy to download the songs from my computer. When I tried to use the Rhapsody software on my computer is created a problem and I just bypassed that and downloaded MP3's right from my own computer. It also has FM radio, which is very useful at times. It is very lightweight and compact which was a plus for me because I take it when I walk. It also has a nice clip on it. The sound is very good and it is easy to locate the music you want.

this is a great value with a nice size memory & the ability to add a microSd card to expand the memory. The headphone jack should be better i.e. 1st time I plugged in the headphone only heard one channel. I had to mess with the plug to get both channels working but once it's in properly it sounds good with lots of volume. Same issues with every headphone I tried. The software takes some work to figure out what to do once you figure out how to add your playlists. Bottom line, I would buy it again.

This is my second purchase of this item. Previous one broke after only 1 year use - the volume control button broke on the inside and could no longer be adjusted. However, for the price, much better than buying an iPod. I bought a 16GB microSD card to go with this and got the MP3 player on sale. So, for under $50 I have a very user friendly MP3 player with 24GB of memory.

I really like this product, it's a brand I've bought before, and would highly recommend to others. The sound quality is excellent and the ease of used is a plus. My one complaint, is that the USB and ear phones connected at the bottom of the player and not on the side, but that is my preference, and does not detract overall from the product. It is definitely a product I will buy in future.

My 63 years of music collected from Roy Orbison, to Rob Zombie, and it all fits in a recorder/player the size, shape, weight of a box of matches. I remember replacing my cassette collection with cd's when I wanted to carry around a more portable music player. Now I can record and shuffle through all my cd's with a push of a button. The best part, I can back up and add to my collection with either an external sd card, an external disk drive, my pc, or all three. I walk/exercise everyday, so now I can listen to the news, or music, and not worry about lugging a radio, cd player, or Ipad around when I need to be mobile and agile.

I've owned a SanDisk Mp3 player previously. I enjoyed it until the battery died. I enjoyed it so much because of the price point and ease of use. So, I decided to purchase the zip clip from SanDisk. I really like the ease of use. You don't have to do much to set it up. I transferred my old tunes onto it with no problem. It clips to you so you can be as active as you like and you don't have to worry about holding it or putting it in your pocket. You can add a micro SD memory card for more storage. Just wish it had longer battery life. This is a very small devise so people with vision problems might have a hard time seeing the small print. Also, people that love bass music may think that this devise doesn't have enough thump. But, for the average user it'll do just fine.

I use this mostly for Audiobooks, but the sound is good on music too. Handy size, fits in a pocket or has handy clip. Only wish I could delete a whole album or book at once, can only remove them track by track.

I like this product. The quality of the sound is great. It is easy to use and the size is perfect - not bulky.

Nice clip. Small, compact, you won't need an arm-band. 4G is a lot of space for music. Doesn't have other fancy features,.. but who cares,.. this is for the gym/travel/on-the-go. Computer Software is kind of challenging to use. Easy to inadvertently restart music after music is paused but not a deal-breaker. I have owned Apple, Sony, various other players and now SanDisk, so in comparison SanDisk is better than any apple-mp3 player, but not as good as my Sony.

I bought this for my dad - he's 70 - to use on an upcoming plane ride to AZ. I loaded his music through Windows Media Player, which was very straightforward. It has has quite a lot of settings and options, such as equalizer settings by genre, which is nice, since he's used to personalizing this. He might have a time getting used to navigating the buttons, but that's only because he's not used to them, and they are nearly flush with the player face. They are probably going to be easier than a touch screen, in his case. We haven't used it for any period of time yet, but at the outset, it looks like it was a good choice.

The battery life is excellent. It's very light. I clip it to the collar of my shirt while at the gym and it's out of the way. Holds plenty of songs. It has a stop watch and count down timer built in. It also has a voice recorder and a radio.

This is a great music player. It is easy to use, compact in size and supports many different audio file types. I also appreciate the additional SD storage capability. This is my second one in a few years, which makes it feel less durable than I would like. However, it fits my needs, the price is reasonable and I like the device so I bought it again.

I have previously owned two shuffle devices - the first being a 500 MB iPod Shuffle, the second being an 8 GB mp3 player that came from My Coke Rewards. Neither of those devices had any screens to control what songs are played - you just hit play and get what you get. That being said, this is a tremendous upgrade for me. It works very similarly to my wife's iPod nano, but is more compact and cost about 75% less. There are lots of options to play whatever songs you want to hear, including setting up your own playlists, which admittedly I haven't had a chance to do yet, so I can't comment on the ease of that function. The only problem I've had is that it takes about 30 seconds to start up before you can start playing anything, so that's something they should work on for future models. The battery is still going strong after more than 8 hours of play. My previous player would have had to be charged twice already in that time. And it has a micro SD slot, so you can add more than the 8 GB internal memory.

I got the player to use when walking or working out. It has a clip to attach to your clothes so it doesn't move around like an arm band may. It is so lightweight that you don't feel burdened by it. The songs were extremely easy to upload, even without our kids help. Would recommend this to everyone. Price was affordable.

I was purchasing this item as a gift for a non-tech type of person. In my humble opinion the Ipod has grown bloated and very overpriced. If you are looking for a simple (and expandable) music player, this suits the bill pretty well. The buttons and screen are a bit small and the user interface is just ok, however, once you load it up with music and hit shuffle...you are rarely playing with any of the above. The player only comes with 8gb, I would highly suggest the purchase of an additional 32gb micro sd card (the supported max). This gives you 40gb total of storage, which is more than enough for any average music collection.

this is my 2nd SanDisk same model (lost my first one) 8 gig is more than enough for mp3 downloads which is all i use mine for, the charge holds for about 7 1/2 hrs which is plenty for an outing and i like the volume levels which were better than i thought they would be (i like it loud). very happy.
