Super fast transfer speed in comparison to downloading camera to computer! Compact for travel.

As a photographer this item increases the time to get your work on the screen to edit. Had 753 photo on my card and it just took it and I was instantly able to review the images on my computer.

Make sure you use it with the correct cable on a 3.1 port. Otherwise your transfer will be capped at 40MB/s. Otherwise. Good reliable performance. Design is fine. Not my favorite peripheral. But that’s not a major selling point. It’s also expensive vs. 2x2 options.

I bought this to read my CFexpress Card memory card.

Don't know how well it works yet because I haven't receive my CF express card yet, but so far I'm not impress. Requires USB-C port. USB to USB-C cable won't work. You need an adaptor which will lose transfer speed. Luckily, my PC has a USB-C port, but my PC does not see the reader. Maybe I need driver or something? The cable is a measly 1 foot long. Now it sits on my PC instead of my table.

If you need a CFExpress type B reader and have an available USB 3.1 Gen 1 or 2 port on your computer, this is a great fit. Was able to dump a full 128GB card to my SSD in a matter of a few minutes. Small and portable size was a nice add too.

Wry easy to use and setup with my MacBook. It uploads very quickly and easy to organize photos and files.

For what it does, the SanDisk CFExpress Card Reader nails it. The fast USB-C connection and compact design make it easy to pop into my camera bag and take on the go (since not a lot of people have CFExpress Card Readers). It transfers fast to the computer and is quick so the heat doesn't build up (like is a problem in the camera with CFExpress Cards at times).

No adapter to use in USB 3.1 sandisk should have included an adapter at this price range. I have an adapter from a sandisk SSD that I am using. Otherwise works as described. Disappointing because if someone has no adapter the reader can not be used.

It’s Small and fits in the camera bags perfectly.. also Makes for fast and easy card dumps while on set without being in the way on the desk.

Quickly transfers photos and videos from CFexpress cards. MacBook Pro always recognizes this new reader, unlike with my older CF/SD card reader.

SanDisk Extreme Pro works great with CF Express card. It would not read Sony XQD cards for me.

I was worried about the negative reviews, did some research and read that early units had issues with the card seating properly but has since been fixed. Gave it a shot today and purchased it. Works flawlessly. Good build-quality and actually slightly weighted with a rubber base so it stays put on your desktop. Spring mechanism for inserted cards is firm and easy to operate. Transfers were speedy. Excellent product.
