Works great getting photos easily from an iPhone. The device also enables transferring photos to an iMac. Be careful which iXpand you select. This one is a USB and lightning. There are some with a USB-C.

I had purchased a new iPhone and was unable to download all the photos to my computer. I had over 15,000 pics on my old phone! I went to Best Buy and the salesman I spoke with explained that those photos and movies could vary in size depending on several factors. He recommended this item, explaining its better to have too much memory opposed to having too little. He was correct. I was able to completely download all my photos and videos to one place. It took a little over an hour to download but I know my photos are safe. I’m very satisfied.

This is the best idea ever. I love being able to back up items from my phone to this drive on the fly. I dont need to purchase as big a phone with this in the future.

It takes a while to figure out, but it is great when you do. It has password protection when using the lightening connector, an is a normal thumb drive when using USB. A solid buy!

Built for the iPad and iPhone. Works well, fast, efficient, effective, and easily. However, 8000 pictures took a while to download to the USB, Excellent product, although pricier than comparative non-Apple products.

I love the backup capabilities, but don’t like having to use the software that came with it. Back up movies, books, etc. then when we travel, I can plug it in iPad and it works great!
