Good concept but needs work

I really like the concept of this but I find it’s quite challenging to use. It loads the photos ok but if you need to delete any after they are loaded it doesn’t work well at all.

It didn’t work when I tried to transfer my pictures and videos from my phone

Worked great for about 4 months, then the internal components slid out. I can no longer insert in to my phone without having to hold the back end so the internals do not slide out. Low quality build. Otherwise it works for data transfer as intended.

Not really happy with the merchandise salt for the amount of money they charge me it should be better quality that’s all I have to say

A little confusing to use. I got it to back up my mother-in-laws iPad. No simple way to do that. It seemed to just want to back up photos

Stopped communicating with my iPhone.

After 1.5 years it stopped communicating with my iPhone. It still acts as a usb drive and works well with my pc, but I can’t review pics with my phone. Disappointing.

This device is great for backing up everything on my iPhone. I don’t need more storage on iPhone now that I have this usb.

The software and interface are slow. Maybe it's an older version. Sandisk products are usually quite good, but this one disapoints and now a day past return window. Actually better not to use the software to migrate data. Doesn't allow data to be moved either - only copied. Slow, buggy, no cover for the exposed usb or lightning contact, but better than nothing...

Should be zero stars. These products are defective and Sandisk knowingly sells them. Mine was glitchy, buggy, and hasn’t worked since day one. I will never buy another Sandisk product again after this junk.
Search for reviews and a few common problems keep getting mentioned. This product does not work.
The app they use for this product to work Sandisk xpand drive will no longer be supported in four months. Backup app doesn’t work to save anything.

This was just what I needed to unload my pictures and free up space on my iPhone.

Great way to get photos off my iPhone without putting them on iCloud. However, disliked having to install Sandisk app. Just another privacy and data mining issue. Should've researched more and should've returned and gotten money back. In the back of junk drawer it goes. Not BestBuy's fault.
