I suppose this is a conventional SSD. For me, it was a huge improvement in speed over my previous drive. Install was relatively simple and straightforward. If this is your first SSD you really will notice the different. Booting is 15 seconds compared to 90 seconds.

I installed my new SSD to my old mid 2012 MacBook Pro and now my Mac is running really fast compare to my old HDD. Since installing the it working quicker and it not heating up as before. The installation was very easy didn't have any difficulty with the installation. I'm very happy with my new SSD.

Love ❤️ it... great price, fast, & quiet! This was a replacement for my primary hard drive which crashed. It was easy to install and if anything it’s just getting the operating system and all your software back on that’s the difficult part.

Great buy on this Solid State 1TB Drive. Made my MacBook Pro 17inch laptop like a new machine. Booted up in 30 sec after installing a fresh OS. Super speedy now. Best thing I’ve ever done for my old laptop. Night and Day difference in performance.

My MacBook suddenly stopped working, I would start up the laptop and every time it went to the log in page it would cut off. I went to the Apple store and was so lucky that the tech worker that did my appointment was honest even if it meant Apple doesn’t make money. He told me to purchase this drive and encouraged me to not have Apple do the repair because I could save even more money by inserting it myself. I thought I would try but wouldn’t be able to do it myself and would have to spend about $100 for Apple to do it. But it was very easy to do and even easier because there are tons of YouTube videos showing how to do it yourself. My laptop was on its death bed and now is running marathons. So happy I chose this drive!

I replaced the 3.5 HDD with this 2.5 SSD in my 2013 Dell XPS 8700. My pc was bogged down and started showing signs of age (slowing down) after decluttering the PC it still showed signs of slowing. I replaced the HDD with an SSD and it is now working 40% faster than before and feels faster than my new PC. Since then i have upgraded all of my office PC’s with this SSD and couldn’t be happier. It also comes with a drive health program to help identify hard drive issues before they occur going forward. I look forward to getting more years of life out of an already impressive machine thanks to this SSD. I am thoroughly impressed

Upgraded my standard drive to this SSD. Cloned original drive and this dropped right in. No sound, FAST, best upgrade to one's computer is of course memory and upgrading to a solid state drive.

plenty of space (for me), fast; makes my laptop more efficient and reliable. SSDs are getting more and more inexpensive. It's a great deal to switch from HDD.

Bought this to upgrade my Pro and I love it. I play a lot of Destiny and the load times are faster and the menu times are almost instant. If you have the dough I highly recommend this for games you spend a lot of time on, saves you loads of waiting time in the long run. Also, very easy to install. If you need to transfer from your current PS4 HDD to SDD then a USB external drive is recommended to backup and restore to your SDD once installed. Will also need a flash drive to load PS4’s OS to install onto your SDD.

Easy to slip into the existing space and uses the existing connector in my Dell Latitude laptop. I did have to initialize the drive, once physically installed, before I could actually use it. I found instructions to do the initialization on-line. (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/disk-management/initialize-new-disks) I found it fairly easy to follow the instructions. If this sounds tricky, maybe have BestBuy install it for you. Performance is a noticeable improvement over the original SATA drive. And no moving parts to fail.

Fast and reliable. Easy to install and a good price for the memory.

This drive is in my laptop, replacing a SanDisk 500GB with a 1TB of the same type. I needed more storage. Both are fast, reliable and the price point is good.

I was required to upgrade my OOTB SSD 120 gigs that came with my HP PC due to constant and nagging "out of storage space" issues. When I was trying to look for options, I was quite overwhelmed. There are so many brands and models are options. The best feature of SSD is fast boot and copy performance. I didn't want to lose that over increased storage space, I was aiming for an upgrade up to at least 1 TB. Trusting SanDisk as a reliable manufacturer in my experience, I researched a few models and found online the performance of 3D SSD to be reasonably OK. After the purchase and the install, I am not disappointed at all with my choice, in fact pretty happy. I would say the performance of Ultra 3D SSD is quite better than the 120 gigs OOTB SSD HD I was using on my Costco HP desktop. I highly recommend this product. In the research process, I found nvm technology disks to be extremely high performance than SSDs. However, for my usage that would have been overkill because I have to now buy compatible cords that connect to the motherboard.

I purchased this solid state drive as a replacement for an existing WD SATA drive that prematurely failed. I already had a main drive that was high end super fast SSD and I did not want to spend the same amount again. I was very surprised to see that my benchmark software provided results for this drive that where within 5 to 6 % of the high end SSD. The cost versus performance makes this drive an extremely great value. I would highly recommend this solid state drive.

I set this up as a secondary data drive in my HP Omen gaming desktop and couldn't be happier, the speed is a big boost over the original spindle drive that came with the system. I've relegated that drive to backup and large file storage. For the price you can't beat this, especially if you want to expand your storage and already have a fast main drive.

I bought this SSD for my daughter's new Dell laptop. It came with a regular SATA drive and it was running very slow, with the Ryzen 7 processor and 8 GB of memory. So I knew that it needed a SSD to speed it up. Sandisk seems to be the brand with the best reliability than other brands I've used. I've had Samsung, PNY, and a couple of other brands fail on me, but never a Sandisk. So I'm sticking with what works for me. My daughter's new Dell Laptop is flying now and I think she has a reliable SSD in it now.

Easy to install, offers a major boost to performance with a large amount of storage. No going back to mechanical hard drives now.

While my new gaming PC does have a 7200RPM drive in it, it only has a relatively small amount of NVMe storage which I would prefer to keep for core operations and files. I needed something with enough space and speed for installing all of my games and this 1TB drive does the trick. Picked up a hard drive bay adaptor and a SATA III cable, did a quick format in Disk Manager and it was done! This is probably the easiest upgrade you can do for your PC and SanDisk makes quality drives, so this was a no-brainer.

My wife's Dell Inspiron 15 3541 has Windows 10, came with a ridiculously slow HDD, which made having 8 GB RAM + an AMD6 processor almost irrelevant. I swapped to the SanDisk Ultra 1.024 TB SSD, and immediately her PC went from jalopy to highway speed response by comparison, as if it were a new PC altogether. This SanDisk SSD made the difference between her having a usable machine or a paperweight.

Rarely does one buy a product and it exceeds its expectations but this one did. Sandisk's spec page states up 560 mbps read and 530 mbps write speeds. Using third party s/w to check, I received 561 and 535 respectively. My 3 year old I7 desktop now boots ready to go in 15 seconds, what was 3-4 mins before on the original 1 TB HDD. I cloned the HDD so all start up items are the same. No need for a new PC
