    Tested SanDisk against a comparable PNY on the MAC TimeMachine backup and found that it was much faster - the SanDisk was about 40% faster. Both were reformatted to the MAC APFS, so it is likely a faster read/write controller chip. The push button slider cover is much better designed than the PNY.

    I bought this because the price was great. It's good, but if you're looking for transfer speed, Sandisk Extreme is a better bet.
