Finally got the new flash drive with USB 3.0 capability. Fast Read and Write Speeds, should be the new standard for Flash drives. Just wondered why it took so long to move from USB 2.0. Worth the extra cost.

Sandisk has been pretty reliable so i used this unit to create a restore drive for my new PC

handy little drive, use it for setting up Ubuntu and having a copy ready to go, small lightweight and fairly speedy, Got it for a fair price and an pleased with it. Good to have 1 or two around to copy pics and files you want to keep or take to family functions ect

This is probably my 10th SanDisk flash drive. Myself, the wife and my 10 year old son all have a few. They can take a beating, have decent write speeds, always look nice and not lame or cheesy, and the price on the various sizes are always cheaper than most of the competition. Keep a couple for OS installs, program and game back-ups, 1 for flashing bios updates, and keep 1 in the safe with digital copies of vital docs liike birth certs, will, power of attorney, resumes, degrees, etc. Lots of practical every day uses for the whole family.

I bought this drive to keep an image of Windows 10 on it for restorations. The wife's laptop froze after a Windows 10 update and had to be restored. Before this drive I had to call a friend to borrow one but now I'm set with my own.
