Better than USB 3.0, but still not even 150mbps
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a thunderbolt 3 enabled laptop and I transfer about 6gb quantities of files to portable storage on a regular basis, USB 3.0 flash drives heat up and slow down to unbearably slow. So does this, it goes from 40mbps at its peak for about 8 seconds, then down to 12mbps, and stays there but can drop to 4 or 3mbps. When the file transfer is done, the USB-C flash drive is extremely hot to the touch. Ultimately this product is not made for thunderbolt 3 ultrabooks.

Need to read all specs before buying
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't have any idea if this product is good or bad, My computer could not handle the speed you need to buy a adapter to use this item on most computers, I did not know this, so for other people please read all specs before you buy to make sure this part will work on your computer or you can just buy the adapter! We learn things everyday!!

Its okay, but its warming up!

I've used it 3 times and each time it gets warm after a while. The one good thing is that I don't have to bother with an adapter for my mac to use it.
