But I kept it anyway it may be useful at some point down the road but right now it’s not doing any good for me.

I did notice they get extremely hot but was very disappointed that the data that previosuly backed up fine was now corrupted and loss, literally fried. Betware only a two week return policy at Best Buy so now must deal with SanDisk warranty replacements. Also btw I ordered the same SanDisk in a 256gb for backup purposes and immediately noticed there were no overheating issues on that one which makes me wonder if SanDisk corrected this known bug.
