This SanDisk is very good and very helpful. I was introduced to this product by an employee name Eduarado and since i have been using it i have no regret.

I initially purchased the SanDisk thumb drive to record HDR videos on my iPhone 16 pro. it worked great initially but over some time the USB-C stick wore out and I didn't even use it for long. I would say I got about 20 uses out of it. the only way I can access my stored files at this point is by using a dongle that allows me to hook up the USB-A side. it's a little bit disappointing because I didn't have it for long and I thought $256 gigs would be all I needed. the product was a little bit sturdier I'd be happy but I can't say I am currently the fact that it doesn't work.

From the moment I plugged it in, the dual-connector design (reversible USB-C on one end, standard USB-A on the other) made life so much easier. No more adapters or hunting for the right cable! I use it daily to offload photos and videos from my Android phone (USB-C) straight to my laptop (USB-A), or back up files between my tablet, Mac, and Windows PC without any hassle. The swivel mechanism protects the connectors when not in use, and the built-in keyring hole keeps it secure on my keys or bag—super portable and hard to lose despite its tiny size.
Performance is impressive for the price: read speeds hit close to the advertised 400MB/s on larger transfers (real-world tests show around 300-400MB/s depending on the host device), and writes are solid for everyday use like moving large videos or documents. It's plug-and-play—no drivers needed—and works flawlessly with phones, tablets, laptops, and even OTG-supported devices. The 256GB capacity is massive; I've stored thousands of high-res photos, 4K clips, music libraries, and important docs without batting an eye.
SanDisk's reliability shines through—I've had zero issues with data corruption or failures after months of heavy use. It's durable enough for on-the-go life, though it does get warm during big transfers (nothing alarming, just normal for high-speed flash drives). If you're someone who needs versatile, fast, and reliable storage in one compact package, this is it.

Died in under 18 months of light use. Only wrote files onto it once or twice. SanDisk has had a horrible reputation the past few years for good reason. I have had way better luck with PNY thumb drives the past 5 years or so.
We're sorry to hear about your experience. That's definitely not the reliability we aim for. Please reach out to us at: https://support-en.sandisk.com/app/askweb - we'd like to look into this further and help with a possible replacement under warranty.

Small but surprisingly powerful. It has both USB-A and USB-C, so it pretty much works with anything. I mostly use it for backups and light storage. It does get a bit warm, but honestly, I don’t think most people are using it as a main or always-plugged-in drive anyway. If you’re looking for something to move files around — like I transferred 60GB in under 10 minutes — this thing is awesome.

This works exactly how you would expect something I like this too work. And the speeds are incredibly fast. It transfers at about a gigabyte per second until it gets hot. Then it'll thermal throttle but it'll still be extremely fast until it cools back down. When it was hot, I feel like it would just be like half a gigabyte per second at that point. I use this to store things i want backed up like movies and videos i create. It's Keychain friendly and that makes it to where i could see people keeping it with their keys and constantly backing up stuff they dont necessarily need on their phone. Anyways, It's awesome that this exists and has the ability to go to your computer via USBA as well.
