Great drive for older Macbooks

The drive that I had was becoming old and with the ssd's coming down in price, I thought I'd give it a try. The installation was quick and painless. No drivers to download, not additional updates needed. I just took out my old HD and replaced it with the new SSD. Now my 2011 MacBook runs just as fast as the newer own. For the price, you can't beat it, especially if you have an old macbook.

Good value for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Heres the deal...I have bought 5 SanDisk SSDs over the last 4-5 years. They last just beyond the warranty period, as I have had 2 fail just beyond the 3-year warranty period. Given price/performance they are a good value as long as you plan to upgrade once warranty is up. By then, maybe you already need to upgrade your PC to get a faster interface, or a bigger drive. So, in that regard its a good drive. I have Intel SSDs that have 6+ years on them, never an issue. They cost more and last longer. But, at 80 and 120GB they are no longer primary drives since I outgrew them, so they are just there for extra storage. Up to you and how you plan to use the drive in the long term.
