Used it for an older desktop. Works just fine. This drive is a sata 3.0 drive. I would suggest you give this drive a shot for upgrades. This drive did not have any cloning or additional software to help with migration.

Great price and it's fast too

While I can say most SSD drives have similar speed, I find this unit to be a great bargain for the special price of $100 (onsale price.) If you can buy this unit on sale, I would definitely suggest you buy one to replace an old mechanical hard drive to get more use of your older systems. :)
