Don't use the free SanDisk Cloning software! After cloning my PC has never been the same. Before cloning I used a second internal HDD for data storage. After cloning neither the newly cloned SSD or the original HDD would recognize the second HDD. In addition several apps and utilities didn't work. I lost the "Snipping Tool" and could no longer scan with my HP AIO. I tried several other HDD's as a second drive and the results are all the same. None are recognized. I contacted SanDisk tech support and they were NO help. Their advice was to contact the PC manufacturer (Dell in my case). The bottom line is that my Dell worked flawlessly until I tried their software. In order to be able to read my second drive I had to buy a Thermaltake BlacX docking station. I've fallen back to the original HDD, did a full format on the SanDisk SSD and am now using it as data storage via the BlacX.

Based on my experience with my own equipment, I upgraded my nephew's 6 yr old HP Laptop with this. He still can't believe how much faster and responsive it is!

The upgrade for my MacBook hard drive to an SSD was done very quickly! I appreciated the professionalism of the tech who assisted me and also the speed with which everything was done.

I ran out of hard drive on my 2006 Mac Book Pro computer and was running out of things to delete. I had the 480 GB San Disk solid state hard drive installed and it's like a new computer.

I've been using this SSD for a bit over a year and the read/write speeds have kept up with those advertised. No complaints at all. Note that this drive does NOT come with any screws.

I bought this to replace a hard drive that went bad. The bad drive was a 6 1/2 year old drive in a Dell laptop. The old drive was a 500 GB drive, but only 400 GB was used. The new drive couldn't cross the files due to "lack of space." So I sold it to a friend and bought a standard 1 TB drive.

Wanted to speedup my desktop rig, decided to go with a SSD. Easy to do the upgrade and copy over the existing OS and data. Took about an hour. Definitely recommend.

No issues, casing feels a bit flimsy but its in a desktop that never moves so I'm not too worried. Good price for the size but it was also on sale.

All my computes now have the 480G SSd drives as the " C" and 1T hard disk as a "D" drive. All Programs go one the "C" and all the Data goes on the "D"

Good price, I was looking for a bigger ssd, this came on sale and was double what I had. I have been happy with a couple smaller ssd's of the same make.
