Bought for size and was on​ Sale installed and reinstalled​ windows 7. The only negative was didn't come with software for copying the system.

My old drive crashed so I replaced it with SanDisk solid state drive and noticed much faster response in boot up and opening programs.

This is my third Sandisk SSD. All have performed well from the start and continue to do so. The system for this latest one loves the efficiency.

Upgraded from 5400 rpm 500Gb WD HDD. Drive cloning was easy, set up was simple. Much faster read and write speeds. Great product. Very happy.

I recommend you purchase the cable system to move your old hard drive to your new one first. Then you do not need to reload most of your programs.

The drive has been working fine and as described. There is a faster response time in relation to the standard drive it replaced.

This drive was easy to install and set up but I wish it had come with cloning software as I had to search around and get my own.

This SATA drive was a replacement to a blown drive. Setup was straight forward and quick to install and get running.

I've bought three of these for various laptops. They've always been super fast, but after a year one of them died. It was my personal laptop so all my files are gone and there was no warning. I used my laptop everything was fine, shut it down and when I went to use it 2 hours later the drive was completely dead, not recognized in any of my computers. On a side note Sandisk has been great to work with regarding warranty and I'm currently waiting for my replacement, just wish I still had my files.. I'll be switching to another brand after this.

This is my second SSD Drive upgrade on as many pcs in as many months. My first SanDisk brand. The setup software did not work for me. I am in the IT field so I had the tools to get around using the default program. With the SSD in or out of the PC the setup software failed repeatedly reporting an error message about this new SSD disk. If you buy this disk you may need a means of attaching both the SanDisk SSD and the drive you are replacing to a second pc to be able to clone. It works as promised once you accomplish the cloning. Plan on having an external dual drive caddy and some other cloning software such as Acronis Disk Director to get the job done.

Useful tings, getting cheaper. Will be happier when the 960/1Tb drives come down to Earth.
