Very good price for the size. Very fast, no issues

My MacBook was at it's last breath. I had been reading about solid state drive for some time now but was hesitant on making the jump. Wow. I wish I would have put one of these in sooner. My 2012 MacBook feels like a new computer again. I could not believe how fast my Adobe applications were opening.

My computer with a fresh install of windows using a sata 5400 went from a 125 secs.boot to just 10 secs. My programs like Adobe and Office apps load extremely fast now! I purchased the Apricorn Notebook Drive Upgrade Kit and it worked perfectlly. It only took 20 minutes to clone my drive.

I made this the system drive in a desktop with a couple of hard drives for storage, replacing a high end PCI express SSD. The difference in ordinary usage isn't great: any modern SSD is far quicker than a hard drive. This one offers a healthy amount of space for the cost.

Got this on sale so I could upgrade my daughter's Alienware Alpha and it's like night and day from the 5400 rpm hdd that was in it. the build quality is great and you can download software from sandisk to upgrade the firmware.

OK. It took 5 hours to clone the hard drive my 7 year old MacBook Pro. It's been painfully slow, so that was no surprise. What was a surprise was how quick it was once I turned it back on.

These are excellent SSD drives. Everyone should use an SSD if they want to improve the performance of the laptop or desktop PC! That is all I recommend to me customers.

This SSD is fast for the price you are paying. You can tell right away how slow was your mechanical hard drive before this.

Super fast drive excellent buy SSD all the way nothing faster

I purchased this to speed up my wife's early 2011 MacBook Pro. She was barely using it due to a high degree of frustration of applications taking forever to load. I installed this SSD with relative ease just by reviewing a couple of online YouTube videos showing step by step instructions. It took about two hours to rewrite the old drive onto the new SSD, installed it, fired it up and immediately noticed a huge difference. This is a great way to revive old McBook Pro computers that you may think have lost their edge.

An SSD is a must have if you play games on your computer. The load up speed difference from a regular computer and this is no joke.

Built a few computers in the past. Just first time getting an ssd. It boots up so much fast. For the price can't go wrong with this.

This is not the best drive you can buy, but it works great. Even comes with the insert to make it a 9mm drive if needed.

I've got four of these. Two 960GB and two 480GB. I just had one of the 480GB drives fail on me today. Total failure, too. It doesn't register as a device no matter where I put it, and I've got several external drive enclosures and three different computers that I've tried it on. It's dead. All four of the drives perform well (other than the one failure), but now I don't think I want to run these as a single drive and should run them mirrored so I don't lose a bunch of data. So far, they've been good, and fast, so I'm still going to give it three stars.

This drive works as advertised. Laptop is much faster to boot.
