Very fast drive great for online game playing very easy to install worth the money

I upgraded my PC with this drive, during the cloning process the transfer failed so I had to do a fresh install. My computer runs like a Rocket and boots, runs and shuts down very fast! This was on sale and if not for that I wouldn't of bought due to the high price of this unit at regular price. I am very happy with this item.

So far so good.. I had trouble getting the drive to be recognized by my PC and my MAC. I had to call Sandisk. I was on the phone for atleast an hour, as I have never had to initialize a drive like this before. After some frustration, and a lengthy phone call, it was operational. I had a 240 gig Xtreme drive previously, that this drive is replacing. The speed slow down was immediately noticed using this drive. Granted, its only a few seconds, however I could tell. Overall, a good drive, no problems other than initializing at the beginning, and Sandisk customer service was exceptional!

I replaced the hard drive in my older laptop (1 TB with a 1TB SSD). The laptop operates so much faster. It boots faster and searches are lightning fast. The software I downloaded made it easy to replicate the original drive with the SSD. I did not have to re-install or re-register any software and lost no data. I was very glad I made this change and recommend this to anyone reading this.

My grandson popped this drive in his gaming PC. He is quite happy with it. He says that his system boots up quite faster and is a whole lot quieter.

I bought this SSD a few months ago, mainly to speed up the loading of BF4 maps. What I also experienced is that instead of spending 5-8min, sometimes upwards of 15min after a reboot to when my computer is done accessing teh HDD, is now that I spend, from power on to usability, 15sec. I'm extremely glad that I bought this SSD, as now everything loads MUCH quicker. Quicker than I expected.

This was a spur-of-the-moment purchase made after a catastrophic crash of my factory-installed hard drive. I was concerned about reliability, but the local Geek expressed a good opinion of the brand, so I went with it. It was the only one they had in stock that came even close to the 1 Terabyte drive that crashed. No problems thus far and I'm very pleased with the fast response times.

This solved all of my computer problems. Faster now, works better then new!

After install, which was a breeze, I booted up windows and the drive couldn't be found. I scratched my head checked the connects to the mobo and ssd, they where fine. After about an hour of online searching I finally figured out that the drive had not be assigned a drive letter nor had it been fully formatted for windows 10, which is understandable with how new it is compared to the drive. Getting the drive letter assigned took another 30 minutes and then it worked great drive performs at advertised speeds and I haven't had another problems with it since the first day.

Fast and reliable, that's what we want. Right? This product delivers.

I typically install SSDs almost immediately in a laptop, but this was the first time I did so in a Desktop. The price of these has dropped significantly over the years. I put this particular drive in a DELL desktop; replacing a Terabyte drive that came with the machine. Performance improvement was significant, and the drive runs very, very quiet all the time.
