I had just bought my new ASUS laptop, and the only drawback was the lack of a solid-state hard drive. This was an excellent choice that I would repeat again.

This plus a memory upgrade and my 3 year old laptop is ready for another 2-3! The artificial drive sounds that it makes every so often are silly, but they don't impact the performance, so no reduction there.

Compared to traditional rotational hard drives solid state drives are very fast. I've been using SanDisk drives in my computers for years now and have never had any issues. Great for VM work.

This SSD is well suited for anything that you need to put on it. First and foremost, you would place your operating sytems followed by your top priority apps and games. Would recommend!

Thin, light, fast and moderately priced. Best Buy has been very competitive on their SSD pricing. The SSD Plus is not the fastest SSD from Sandish, but unless you have an ultra high performance computer, the extr 5% speed boost from more expensive drive will not even be available to your computer.

Before I purchased this, my laptop constantly ground to a halt. With this upgrade, I cannot believe the increased speed and function of my computer. Wish that I had done this sooner.

I got this drive to do a forensic investigation on very short notice. Drive was FAST and worked perfectly for the case. Highly recommend.

Install this on my desktop computer. Start time used to take about two and a half minutes to start, now it's down to 54 seconds from the power button push to the desktop home screen.

This Disk has worked as expected since I bought it. The Computer it is in is on 24/7 and never shuts down. I Had my doubts that it would perform as expected. It has proven me wrong.
