Rock solid drive. I have used this for several months. It was easy to transfer my old hard disk to the SSD.I have had no issues. Obtained the drive on sale and happy I did.

I purchased this for my my MacBook pro. It feels like a brand new machine now, thanks to this SSD. My boot time went from about a minute and a half to less than thirty seconds.

great ssd harddrive. Make sure that your laptop can accommodate it before you purchase it. I made the mistake of purchasing it only to discover that my laptop uses a mini ssd for its interior C drive and I didn't want to use THIS product to replace my 2 TB regular secondary internal HD...

I added this SSD to my new Acer laptop. Windows 10 now boots up in less than 10 seconds. Also got one for my son's 4 yr old HP, it made a world of difference. Highly recommend.

A ssd hard drive can make a computer boot up and run faster. The lack of internal electric motors and moving parts should add to reliability. The price was very good also.

I'd been waiting for a while until this fell into a $5/GB price range. Vast improvement in boot time, and application access. Used EaseUS Todo to transfer from my spinning drive.

Bought as a replacement to slower SATA drive that was almost full. Great fast drive for the money, much cheaper than a 1 Terabyte drive for almost the same capacity.

Great budget SSD! I purchased the 256 earlier and now I have this one. Both are working great! An SSD is such an amazing upgrade and having so much space just makes things fly!

Very easy to install, and this comes from someone who has trouble putting together tacos at dinner. Attached very easily, and I was up and running in very little time.

I replaced a 1 TB 7200 rpm hard drive and this is faster. It was an easy install because I had a USB to SATA cable. Only problem is the need to initialize the drive.

This SSD used to cost a bunch more but, lately, SSD prices are quite reasonable so there's really no excuse for not upgrading your computer with one of these (or other quality brands). I've never seen a failure on this brand/model of SSD. The only place where it should not be used is on an old Mac with the Nvidia chipset as that controller (SATA2) sees this SATA3 SSD as SATA1 so, even though it's faster than a spinning hard drive, it's a waste of money. Samsung SATA3 SSDs work as expected (at SATA2 speed) in such Macs.

Perfect replacement for older or new computers as a replacement or to improve performance. SSD drives are super fast and work with Win 7, 8, 10. Affordable too!

I'm using the ssd as a secondary drive in an hp elite book in conjunction with a 256 gb m2 drive. So far I have had no problems, the drive works as it should.

This SSD drive has improved my computer boot time compared to my traditional harddrive. It was a challenge to get it setup as my primary Win 10 boot drive though.

I found this very easy to install on my laptop and it works like it should. I have noticed the startup time and response time is much quicker than the old drive.

I have had this SSD drive in my laptop for a couple weeks. I have a very good laptop to begin with (Intel i7 processor, 16GB Ram, 4GB separate video Ram). But installing this SSD drive was the best thing I ever did. Now my very good laptop is Great! Incredibly fast. Everything works faster, not just startup. Speaking of startup, from the time i push the power button to total startup of Windows 10 is 12 seconds! Also installing in my laptop was a breeze too. I got the $20 transfer cable and software from Bestbuy and the entire process (including cloning my old drive) took only about an hour.

It was easy to install and did not take very long. You do have to purchase the cable. You can download the software free on line at the SanDisk website.

I highly recommend this SSD - it is perfect for revitalizing any older desktop or laptop and makes it load everything (and boot up) much much aster.

I was looking for a hard drive upgrade with plenty of space. This does wonders. Boot time is great and it stays nice and cool when I'm in a gaming session.
