Good SSD for the money

The drive is good and for the price is a good contender for those on a budget. If you want the best in class and fastest drive I recommend the Samsung Evo drives as they are faster and better according to the bench marks.. I have several of those and they are great. But I would say that for those on a budget this is a good alternative to the EVO..

I'm using it in an arcade machine build utilizing Hyperspin and Retroarch. I'm using this drive in a RAID configuration to host the games and software. So far no problems setting it up running under windows 7. If you want a good, fast and inexpensive SSD then you can't go wrong with this one.

Won't change to another brand. Go Sandisk!! Available in-stock at your local Best Buy today!! (not a guaranty but they always have them for me!)

1TB storage

I spent waaay too much money on this product at the time as you can buy this product as a fraction of the price I paid for it at the time. NOT a Best Buy at the time of purchase...

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read negative reviews about people losing data..... i mean come on your are depending on a single point of failure on data that means that much to you?!?!? always back up your back up, SSD's have a fix end of life. plus it has a 3 year warranty. losing data shouldn't be a negative review. if you are depending on 1 drive to keep you up and running 24/7 i would recommend purchasing 2 and running a raid 1, think smarter not cheaper.

Good value for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not the fastest drive out there (or the most spacious as there are true 1TB drives available versus this 960GB) but for the money, this one offers decent performance that would be suitable for general users and some gamers (although there are faster drives out there). But for secondary storage purposes, this drive fits the bill and is affordable compared to the competition. SanDisk is a trusted name when it comes to memory and storage media.
