Although not as fast as other ssd's this drive performed well and had an ample storage size. In all a good price for performance trade.

their ultra II line is probably the best performance for the money you can buy. i own so many brands of ssd's and sandisk is one of my top picks. although it is not a benchmark leader, it loads windows faster than any other drive i have. windows doesn't even get a chance to show its loading animations... just jumps right into the os. For me, that matters more than to be highest on the benchmarks. if you care about bench-marking, then get the san disk extreme pro. i have one of those too and i honestly don't see a difference in speed. the only difference is price.

What can I say. It brought my old Thinkpad back to life. The laptop boots in 15 seconds instead of 3 minutes. No need to get a new laptop, got 2 times the storage and 10 times the speed!!

I read reviews on this product before I purchased and the reviews I read on Best Buy weren't the most flattering. So I was a little hesitant to purchase this SSD even with the savings I was getting. I decided to read some reviews elsewhere like Newegg and Amazon which were much better than Best Buy's. So far - I've had the driver at least a month if not longer I have been very happy with it. Unless it dies on me within three years I'll call this purchase a success. Note I hope it lasts much longer than three years. It's much faster than my previous HDD - of course an SSD is though - and it's running just as smoothly as I expected it to.

I purchased this driver after I had a Seagate drive start to fail. I am really happy with the speed of this drive and how fast it seems to be with loading and transferring files. Great deal!

First of all, I got this puppy for a steal as a Deal of the Day for around $190 (if memory serves). I use it for game storage, and primarily for running the online World of Warships. Anyone who has played that game can attest to the frustration of the speed of loading times for that game going into a round of play. I have two SSDs (the other a 240GB model from the same company, which houses my Win7 OS) and this is the faster of the two. The space is great, the speed is great and I couldn't be happier about the purchase.

I purchased two of these for a couple of PC's at home. They are so much faster than the WD 1TB 7200 rpm drives previously used. The cloning was easy and the current PC users love the new speed. So far so good after 3 weeks of use.

I am a professional photographer. For years I have kept my data on a separate drive from my boot drive to protect it from the mishaps that can happen to boot drives. Last year, I added a third small (240GB) "work in progress" SS drive to speed up the workflow of my 30MB RAW imagine files. Now that prices have come down, I cloned my boot disk to this 960GB SSD, and I'm overjoyed I did. Large, complex photo editing software used to take about a minute to open; now it's about 4 seconds. The computer now takes a fourth as long to boot up. Everything seems to run much faster. No negatives in the first two months of use.

I purchased this drive, because my aging laptop was choking at startup and loading large databases. It made a huge difference. My computer had been taking five to seven minutes just to boot. With no other changes, it now takes about fifteen seconds.

I am truly pleased with this Sandisk hard drive. I had a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5 SSD in my laptop before this and I can truly tell no difference in real-world speeds. I use it for my steam and video libraries and it has plenty of space to offer and loads the games in no time at all. For video editors or photographers I am sure there is some measurable difference by going with the Samsung 850 EVO, but if you are a general user looking for a great hard drive upgrade for your laptop or desktop, look no further, especially considering it is 100 dollars less than the Samsung 850 EVO.

This SSD is probably the fastest I’ve used. I put it in Asus running Windows 10 Pro. The boot is around 6 seconds to where I can run programs. It’s excellent for anyone needing or wanting to boost an old system or just speed up a new one.

I went in to buy the 480 GB SSD and found this one on sale it runs lightning fast I use it in my 2011 Macbook Pro and it averages 550 read speeds and 600 write speeds it doesn't ever get very hot

I purchased the first drive to upgrade an old laptop that was running out of disk space. I cloned the old spinning drive to the new SSD. The transfer was flawless. I purchased a new laptop and put the second SanDisk SSD as a second drive on the new computer. They are both working great. The old laptop boots twice a s fast now and runs significantly faster. I've always had a good experience with SanDisk products. Best Buy had the best price in both brick and mortar and online. I'm very happy with Best Buy and the SanDisk SSD.

I bought this SSD drive to replace a standard 2.5" standard HD in a late 2012 Mac Mini. It was very easy to install and the difference in performance is amazing! Instead of taking close to a minute to boot up my Mac Mini, it now starts up in less than 30 seconds. The programs like MS Office start up in less than 10 second. I highly recommend this SSD drive. Great price because it is almost 1 T for a lot cheaper than a 1Terabite drive. Fit my MacBook Pro and worked perfectly. Very Fast.

I recently purchased Dell 7000 (Starlord) Laptop. After a month I decided to upgrade to the SanDisk SSD. Best decision ever! I have not bogged it down a single time. It was well worth the investment.

I cannot begin to explain how much better SSDs are compared to HDD. A lot of slow computers can be fixed by just replacing the hard drive if it is running a spinning disk. Highly recommended.

My i7 Macbook Pro was running a but sluggish, taking over 2 minutes to boot, long time to open applications as well as other stuff. I suspected it might be the disk drive but it seems to check out fine. Purchased this drive and boot time is 15 seconds from button press to active desktop. Applications fly open, everything is extremely quick. Solid state is the only way to go.
