Extremely fast, easy install, all around great SSD. My only complaint is that it does not come with a SATA cable.

AMD 965BE quad core @ 4GHZ, 12 Gigs RAM with 1TB in RAID, Nvidia 1050ti with 4Gigs VRAM. My rig was lagging and loading really slow when attempting to play Ghost Recon Wildlands on even the Low settings. Turns out the Raid array was the bottleneck. After install, Win7 loads almost instantly, Wildlands runs like butter at Very High settings. I used Acronis to clone the array to an external drive and just copied over to the new SSD. It did take a few hours but no need to reload the OS. This is my first SSD and I can't believe I waited this long to take the plunge. Well worth the money and no more SMART warnings. Use your old spinner HD(s) for large file storage. This drive is stupid fast and increased my Windows Experience score from 5.7 to 6.9. Very pleased and I believe it is priced well. Recommend.

I was never really happy with my i7 Laptop. Just didn't seem to have the speed I expected. After a year of ownership, the OEM hard drive died and I decided to upgrade to an SSD. Best decision I ever made. i caught this drive on sale - had it installed and I've never looked back. The speed difference is night and day. Bootup in under 5 seconds ... programs snap. Files load quickly. The only issue I had was a software update didn't load properly. A quick contact with support and they were all over it and had the problem resolved a day later. I should note, none of this affected the performance of my drive; only the monitoring software. I will never go back to a traditional drive again.

I bought it in order to upgrade my new laptop (Toshiba P55w-C5200). The experience is simply night and day. It starts up in few seconds and app opens almost immediately. Transferring speed to another SSD over USB3 is up to 180MB/sec. Love the speed!

The system runs much faster now with the new SSD. It is a night and day difference. I would strongly recommend this product. I got it for $235 which was an excellent price.

Bought this to replace the 1TB hard drive on my 8-yr old Toshiba laptop. Had to resize the hard drive so it would clone with Macrium. Was a little surprised at how long it took - after the initial file copy it started to do a 'shadow' copy for some reason; this took 15 hours! No problems after that, boot and shutdown times have decreased dramatically. Definitely worth the upgrade!

It is large in size and fast! I love these SSDs! They are easy to install too I just tape them inside.

SanDisk makes some of the fastest AND most reliable SD cards and SSDs. My Mac Mini boot drive was failing so I was forced to replace it with a 1TB drive. I decided that if I were going to make that effort I should upgrade to SSD and boost perfromace. With all the services on that machine, it used to take several minutes before it was booted and responseive.. Now EVERYTHING is done loading within a minute or so. Sandisk and Samsung 850 are great drives to breathe new life into your machine(s)!

Affordable 1TB SSD. Extras (software) offered via url. As stated this is for Notebooks, and can be used with Desktops with separately purchased adapter kits. Windows 10 NTFS format total: 894GB.

Runs faster than HDD and has the same amount of storage than the HDD that it replaced.

My laptop was incredibly slow, couldn't figure out the issue so I decided to just start over with a new drive and clean copy of Windows 10. Installed this one, added my content back on manually, and it's a night and day difference. Startup time is quick, zero problems, and i can now use my Adobe Cloud products they way they were made to run. What a pleasure to use now.

Got this on sale because I had purchased another in a pre-holiday sale. Easy to install in laptop, works great. Now I want these in all my PCs. I used the apricorn transfer utility (purchased separately) to clone the existing drive, then drop this one in, and up and running. Very easy.

I love this hard drive. It provides amazing speed compared to my old HHD. It was very easy to Clone the old drive to this one. The only downside is it doesn't come with a new SATA cable to connect it to the second drive bay so it can only be set up as a replacement unless you buy the cord separately.

This SSD was on sale and is an excellent replacement for the original 500 GB standard hard drive in my mid 2011 Mac Mini. Doubled the storage and greatly increased the access speed.

replaced & cloned the original hard drive in a 13in Macbook pro (late 2011 model) which was barely booting up -- works like a dream now!

I loaded it with 870 GB of library instruments and they load in half the speed or more than regular hard drives.

Purchased for my son's gaming computer. He loves it. He said his computer is faster at loading.

If you are using this drive for reliable backups and do it care to have the fastest SSDs like Samsungs, the value and performance these provide are awesome. Sandisk is a very trustworthy brand so I have never had any issue with the 3 of these I have purchased to date.

Transferred 200 GB Hyper-V disk from RAID5 with 1100 MB/s read to this drive. RAID was on one controller and this SSD was on another controller, so no bottleneck on controllers. Windows 10 showed sustain write speed 300MB/s and not as advertised. Sandisk is lying. On the other hand, did the same with EVO and sustained write speed was about and a little higher than 500MB/s. If you are moving from spinning disk to this SSD, you will notice huge performance increase due to the seek times, but if you are moving from another SSD to this one - no gains. Just cheaper storage. Would I recommend to a friend? It depends. I am done with Sandisk brand.
