    Unreliable

Failed without warning after just shy of 10 months use. Computer locked up and had to be hard booted by holding down the power button; then the BIOS would not recognize the drive - totally dead. Waiting to hear from SanDisk on replacement. I registered it, and it shows as under warranty on their web site. I expect they'll do the right thing. This is the first time I've ever had a drive fail without some sort of performance issues leading up to the failure. Even if they replace it, I don't think I can rely on this as my primary boot drive anymore.

I bought this SSD on 4/11/16, worked flawlessly and then in the middle of creating a report for work-it died. 4 Months! SanDisk is giving me the run-around for a warranty replacement although it says 3 year warranty.

This was a great drive, but it suddenly died and is completely unreadable/undetectable. Extremely disappointed as SSDs are supposed to be way more reliable.

Failed twice in 6 months. First time I recovered the drive, reformatted, and started from scratch. The second time the computer will not recognize it in the BIOS. Don't be cheap or suffer the consequences, go for the Samsung Evo. Newegg.com shows similar failures in reviews, check it out
