Works great for speeding overall pc performance on system boot drives. Working for over a year without a sungle problem.

I heavily recommend this drive. It enlarged my laptop's capabilities in terms of hard drive space and speeds up access tremendously. The only downside (and this is not really the drive's fault) but I had to reinstall Windows on it (Best Buy will do this for a hefty fee and if you have the disc or license). I had the DVD drive and disc so I did it myself. I also had to reinstall all my software all over again. So while it is fairly affordable and much faster, it does take some time to reinstall everything.

My old hard drive crashed, picked this up as a replacement and I couldn't believe the difference it made. Everything is faster.

I purchased this to replace a smaller primary drive and have been very happy with it. With close to a terabyte of storage this drive should be more than enough for anyone. Since it is a solid state drive it is much faster than any regular hard drive and would be perfect for anyone looking to upgrade to a solid state drive.

This solid state drive I really like, works really good compared with what I had. My laptop is having a great performance.

Well I had one SSD drive before, about 4 years ago it was Samsung 128 GB SSD. I was very pleased with it but sold the laptop with that drive, so now I want to add more space to my mac and I was able to install Windows 10 on it so I could run when I need it for a Cad apps, this Hard drive is lightning fast after few days I decide to try it with my old HP Pavilion dv7-4087cl laptop and it boots as fast as my 2013 Mac book pro I was amazed how fast it boot and run Autodesk apps on it so yes defiantly worth the investment, I also recommend it to my brother and he bought 250 GB SSD Sandisk drive to run windows on his Mac Air, I use SATA to USB 3 adapter for it in cases if I needed to switch to a different PC's and also install Windows 10 on it because Microsoft wont let you install on USB 3 external drive it have to be done on Windows machine, anyways if you got any questions ask away, by the way Im thinking to buy one more drive for my mac book pro because this one installed on my HP laptop :)

So glad I decided to do this upgrade. I was looking at an SSD with smaller capacity, but decided to to spend the extra and get the 960GB version. It allows my laptop to run quickly and smoothly. No lagging when running apps like Photoshop or Illustrator. It was certainly worth the money spent.

Installed in a snap in my MacBook Pro (mid 2010). Speed is night and day compared to before. Very satisfied.

This was on sale - and $50 more than a 480 GB one I planned to put into my new laptop - so to get double the size for that little money made this purchase a no brainer. And installed - taking out the 1TB regular HDD and adding more base memory - the new laptop screams so much faster and is quieter.

This isn't my first 960 GB Ultra II SSD but it is the first one I've put in an old laptop and what a difference it has made. I had a WD 1 TB drive in my laptop and it ran ok but it just seemed like it took forever for the laptop to boot and then the login seemed to take longer than it should. But now that I've added the SSD, boot times are extremely improved and within seconds of typing my password, I can actually do things and not wait on the hard drive to finish loading everything for the login. Sure I'm only running at 3 Gb/s instead of 6 Gb/s due to the age of the laptop, but it is worth the cost of the SSD for me to continue to use the old laptop.

This upgrade has brought my 2008 MacBook Pro back into use! It was so slow and bogged down when trying to access things on my old drive. Installed this, and everything is snappier. Word opens in about 5 seconds, all apps open quickly, and boot time is next to nothing. Absolutely awesome!

This is an amazing upgrade from the OEM hard drive that was in my laptop. I put this SSD into a Toshiba Satellite Radius P55W-C5200X (replacong the OEM 750GB hard drive). Cloning the original drive was easy using the Apricorn Data Transfer Cable with the included EZ Gig III Cloning software (purchased separately when I bought the SSD).. The performance improvement is astonishing! Full system boot times (from pushing the power on button to OS and all background processes being loaded) with the OEM drive was around 3 1/2 - 4 minutes. Full system boot times with the SSD now average around 45 seconds! And this performance improvement extends to all application boot times as well. Where some of my graphics programs were taking around a minute to fully load, it is now close to instantaneous! The fact that I got this SSD at such a great price doesn't hurt, either (got it on a black friday sale online for $219). Even at full price I would recommend this upgrade!

I upgraded my 6 year old macbook pro's HDD to SDD and it works perfectly and now I can use this for few more years without any upgrades. I do run numerical simulations using Matlab and work on photography editing using Lightroom and Photoshop at the same time without a hitch.

My wife had a gaming laptop that was running slow. Purchased this for her to give ample space without spending a fortune. She uses her laptop for photos and web browsing. This increases the boot time, wake time and overall performance. Great purchase to give her laptop new life.

This was a replacement for a hybrid drive that came with our son's Lenovo laptop. Excellent boot time, saves battery power. Makes the laptop more portable since he doesn't have do worry about shocking the hard drive. Not the highest performance or priced drive, but gets the job done!

Great value and great price match! Doesn't get much better than this. I bought this as the boot drive for the new system I was building. If you're looking for a dependable and quick SSD I would have no problem recommending this one... my Win10 Pro system boots in under 5 seconds.

Install this drive in an 17" 2008 macbook pro and it works great and makes this unit seem like new.
