I have a MacBook Mid 2009, with this upgraded my MacBook has never worked better

I had a slow 5400 rpm hard drive and upgrading to this has made my system go lightning fast.

I bought this SSD so I can run nested virtual machines in VM Workstation 12. It works well for the reasons I bought it. And I love the boot time. It takes only 45 seconds between powering on my computer and hitting the internet. Yes, I'm an IT guy by profession and a techie by choice. And I'm happy I got this SSD. I would have rated it "5 stars" but it was still a couple of hundred dollars on sale.

Wanted to try SSD, this 960 gig unit was reasonably priced and had good reviews. Glad I did - I love it. Since this is my first ssd, I can't compare to other manufacturers. However, my SanDisk flash drives are all great, so I felt comfortable with the brand. I use what used to be called "mobile trays" for my SATA drives, and the ssd slides right in without the need for a 3.5" carrier tray (which I bought). Used minitool to copy my hard drive to ssd. Boot up is wonderful - probably 5 times faster, both Windows 10 and Slackware Linux. Was concerned about constant read/write activity of Windows, but it seems like ssd these days have a pretty long life. Still, I backup to the original hard drive, just in case. Yes, this is exact same review as I did for my 480Gig version, but BB keeps insisting that I review this one too. So here ya go.

My laptop crashed and it had to be sent away for several weeks. I only had one computer so I went to a pawn-shop and bought one and the Guys at Best Buy helped me get hooked up with a faster processor by installing the new hard drive. A quick solution to a worrisome situation. I love the Geek Squad with their ability to help and answer and have the product on the self.

I put this in my MacBook Pro and was very pleased with the performance.

My computer start up time went from 10 min to 2 mins. I'm gonna put one in my ps4.

SSD storage is finally getting to serious capacities at decent prices. 1TB for $250 is really good - especially when compared to just six months ago. I cannot comment on reliability after just a couple of months - just, so far so good. Boots quickly.

I acquired this SSD on sale. The price paid for almost a terabyte of SSD storage was great. Needless to say, the amount of storage is sensational and, because it is an SSD, my boot times have improved considerably. Well worth the upgrade!

I had Windows 10 after upgrading from Windows 8. My fan ran constantly. I bought the new SSD which was a bit pricey, but my fan never runs and I put windows 7 onto this machine and it boots instantly. I am totally satisfied with this SSD.

Very smooth install on MacBook Pro Late 2011 model. Runs like night and day from old 3.5 Sata drive. Boots now in seconds. No issues at all, MacBook is used daily during work hours 9-5 and no hiccups whatsoever. Good buy for a Mac guy!

I installed this drive in my 2016 HP Laptop. It is faster then the original disk drive and so far extremely reliable. I gave it a 4.0 for it's value. The price and speed was a good deal. It was on sale. I know there are faster SSD's out there but the price value is not there. My only regret was not buying a second one for my older computer. PD

i love this little beast. so easy to install, light, quiet (that goes without saying) and fast, fast, fast!!! and as a bonus, it was on sale! it was the last one or i would have bought at least 5 of them. i highly recommend this little gem.

I purchased this SSD to replace the stock 5400 RPM hard drive that came with my new DELL 7559. I got the one with the I7 6700HQ processor and 16 GB of RAM and with a 128 GB M2 SSD where the Operating system resides. I knew the 5400 RPM HDD was the week point and this Sandisk had the best value. So I used my USB to SATA adapter to mirror my 5400 RPM HDD and then swapped it out. Now it takes about 10 seconds to boot up. Amazingly fast. Everything is Click and BAM! It's there. Rendering 1080P HD Video used to take me up to 90 minutes and now I can do the same video in about 30 minutes. So I"m very pleased with this product. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the price. Compared to other SSD the price wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. But I was thinking of giving it 5 Stars. I really was.

This product is just right for this application it works just fine.
