The regular hard drive for my Toshiba Satellite laptop failed. I replaced it with the solid state drive. Much faster than standard hard disk drives.

This was a great deal for a large SSD! I had been waiting for the right price for a quality unit. The 960GB Ultra II was it! Easy to install and is fast.

I bought this ssd to upgrade my old drive and for the speed, after cloning my old drive to this one it booted up with no problems, my old WD HDD 7200rpm from restart to open Windows10 measured in 2:40 ( 2 minutes and 40 seconds ) after installing this drive it measured 0.57 start from off mode only 0.32, and this drive is connected to an old motherboard SATA connection at 3.0Gb/s its capable of 6.0Gb/s, that means if you have a motherboard capable of 6.0Gb/s, it will be even much faster, right now its almost 3 times faster than my old WD HDD 7200rpm drive, I notice everything runs and load much faster, for the price and 3 years warranty and most important the speed absolutely worth it , I definitely recommend it.

This was a replacement hard drive for a traditional style hard drive, this drive is obviously totally silent because of the lack of moving parts and Is extremely fast,, the transfer rate seem to be much higher than my original hard drive.. My only complaint is that where the data cable enters the drive, after re positioning the drive and removing the cable couple times and reinserting,, the plastic around the connectors broke and I was not being tough on the product. I ended up having to zip tie the cable around the drive to hold it in position since I already had data on the drive and did not want to go through the headache of transferring to a new drive. I would definitely buy again; however, I would probably buy a more expensive brand or position it correctly the first time.

The SanDisk brand has been the best buy for me. We buy a lot of SSD's for client upgrades and Sandisk has a great variety of sizes with good SSD speed. The 960 is a great deal. Massive storage and at a economical price.

The SSD performs according the specifications. The SSD allows the operating system to boot much faster than a harddisk drive.

Installation is a snap and now I have the needed storage space and my computer is faster!

I live having a 1tb SSD. It's snappy and keeps me productive and not waiting for reading or writing times like a 5400 would.
