This is my second SanDisk drive. Excellent speed. I used it to replace a 5400 rpm drive in a Dell All-in-One. Works great.

I'd been looking for a while to get a large SSD for my dad's laptop. I purchased an optical drive caddy from another retailer and added this SSD to that caddy, installed into the laptop and used EaseUS Todo to transfer the spinning drive contents to the SSD. The system performs great now. Boot time has been cut in half. Browser windows open up quickly. Performance of his apps are greatly improved.

Glad these things are coming down in price. The performance i believe between the brands is negligible at best.. buy the transfer tool and program they sell at best buy for 25 bucks, makes this process so easy.

The SSD was very easy to install and has speed up my online experience. I no longer have to wait on my machine to load up.

I have used a variety of SSD brands and found this fast and dependable. This makes a great external drive for backups.

I bought this for my Asus laptop. The drive that came with it is alright, but rather slow, and drains power as it is on all the time spinning. The battery lasts longer now, and the speed is incredible. Plus it should outlast the old drive because there are no moving parts. Simple to install. Just go to You Tube and list your computer and watch a video about the installation of this drive. You will love it. Best Buy has the best price on this drive that you will find anywhere.

used this to replace 1TB hard disk in laptop. Makes a world of difference in speed. Everything opens and runs faster.

Was considering upgrading to a 2-in-1 laptop but just upgraded my hard drive and RAM instead. Ended up only spending a third of what my cheapest 2-in-1 choice was. My old HD was an older 750gb 5400 rpm dinosaur that lagged. Just switching to a Samsung 960gb SSD drive alone was a game changer. Loading and boot up time comparison was like night and day. Before, laptop would take over 3 minutes to boot up. Now only takes seconds. Definitely recommend this product.

I originally purchased this SSD as a main replacement drive for my aging laptop. The only hiccup I had was the cloning of this SSD and my previous laptop hard drive. After some time I was able to get it to work but it was highly annoying. Perhaps I was just doing it wrong even though I have been cloning drives to include SSD's for a while now. I now have the SSD as a secondary drive in my new gaming laptop. Anyways, the performance of the drive is great. It is quick to fetch files and write them as well. I have had no issues with the actual SSD itself since purchasing it. I have not done any testing on the drive but just from everyday use, it performs great.

This little baby is going in my laptop. Speed and reliability is what i am looking for and this is it.

Good value vs other ssd options like ssd from Samsung. Used one in a laptop & another as boot disk in desktop to speed up desktop. Saw performance improvement in both cases.

such a big improvement over hdd. About 40x faster than my old wd green drive. I'm glad I upgraded to this sandisk. I only give it 4 stars because there are better ones out there

Def speeds up the OS. Boot times and programs lunch faster. Brings a old computer back to life.

Great budget ssd. Very fast and reliable. I used it for my Os and it speeds things up greatly.

There are better drives for more money, but the bang for the buck of this product is hard to deny. You will definitely notice the difference between this and a conventional spindle hard drive, but not as much when compared to other SSDs. This drive is where I would say depreciating rewards begin on a SSD. If you need a SSD, no frills, this is your drive. If you need the best, you shouldn't be reading this review.

Really speeds up the laptop. Dramatic difference. Boot time went from a minute to 15 seconds.
