Adequate transfer rate at least for my purposes. It’s a very nice metallic little drive about the width of the USB port. Really looks and feels great. Also, sandisk has never let me down. Comes with security software for the files, but I’ve never really used it

With that said, it hasn't failed and still works well in a USB 3 port. I am only giving it a 4 star review because of the heat.
