I picked up one of these on Black Friday, seemed like a pretty good deal, especially the way Best Buy presented it; $19.99, save $70 off the regular price of $90! Well, a quick check online shows that everyone has them for $20, but it's still cheap storage and an upgrade to the 32GB card in my tablet, so I bit. I got it home and started to transfer the data from the old card to the new one... about 95% of the way through, it said that there was a problem writing to the drive... I cancelled the remaining items in que and and recopied them separately. I did a random spot-check and everything looked good, so I inserted the card into my Asus tablet, only to find that some of the folders and files were missing... I re-inserted it into my PC, which confirmed that about 1/2 of the items (music, photos, movies) were missing, although the properties still showed about 28GB of data (the full amount on the old card) was used. I tried to reformat and start over, this time in portions, and got everything transferred, but once again, the data disappeared. I tried again on a different PC, but this time the file names showed as random characters; the following attempts at reformatting failed. When inserted, Windows said that there was a problem with the drive and that it needed to be fixed, but could not fix it. I was able to successfully wipe the drive before returning it to the store for an exchange... Everything copied over fine the first time for card #2, and the files appeared stable on the first check. On a second random check, however, once again files were missing and complete folders showed as empty, even though properties indicated that all of the data was there. This time, however, I could not delete anything, re-formats failed, as did drive-wipes by 2 different programs. When the card was inserted into other devices in attempts to reformat, every device showed a card error. So this one will be returned with some of my data still on it. Take my advice: STAY AWAY FROM THESE CARDS. Maybe I got into a bad batch, but I lost hours of my time, which is far more valuable than these stupid cards...

REVIEW OF: SanDisk - Ultra PLUS 64GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card. Model: SDSDUSC-064G-AN6IN SKU: 3142571 Highly Recommended!!! I have personally used SanDisk SDXC memory cards ranging from 16Gb to 128GB for years without any failures or issues. In my opinion, SanDisk products are superior to (WD) Western Digital products and are comparable to PNY, Toshiba, Sony USB and external (HDD) hard disk drives. [ pros ] Easy to format. Resistant to Xray, Water, Magnetism, Shock (physical handling). SD speed class rating of 10. Video speed class V10. 80 megabytes per second read speed. 80 megabytes per second write speed. 64GB = 4,000 16 Megapixel having 7 MegaByte file size + 80 (MPEG-4/H2.64, 1,920x1080 @ 30fps) in minutes. [ cons ] - device lacks password login credentials. - manufacturer packaging lacks URL to access cloud service offering trial period that provides further cross-platform data sharing restrictions similar to NTI Corporation EZ BackUp cloud service. I bought two of these 64 GB SDXC cards for my older Nikon D5100 DSLR camera. I bought my camera used from a friend who is a professional photographer. Unlike newer Nikon cameras, the D5100 only has ONE card slot. Being relatively new to photography, I wanted to maximize the memory since there is only one card slot. Right now I'm only shooting fine quality JPEGs, but plan to experiment shooting RAW. I'm also wanting to shoot macro photos, but I've also read that some people cheat and shoot raw, then crop like crazy to make it look like a macro picture. Until I purchase a macro lens (Nikons lenses start off just under $300), I may do the RAW/crop option. Since I bought two of these cards during Black Friday weekend, I got a phenomenal price (they cost about half the lowest current sale price for the card!). Using a 64 GB SDXC card, I should be able to take over 9,000 fine JPEGs or nearly 4,000 RAW photos. And this card is also rated for shooting over 7 hours of 1920x1080, 30p video. I'm not going to need memory cards for a long time with these, in additon to the 4 GB and the 32 GB cards I already have.

I was looking for a fast 64GB SDXC memory card for a new camcorder I had bought. I narrowed my selection to either this chip or one considerably more expensive. I could discern no difference between the two so I asked for help from an employee. He told me the more expensive one is faster. "No", I said, and pointed out that they had the same rating. After a few more false starts, he said that the more expensive one was a "premium chip". I said, "Thanks, you've convinced me that they are the same so I'll take the cheaper one." I've used it on all the settings on my camcorder and it works perfectly. Max frame rate and max resolution - no problem. I'm glad I bought this one.

I chose the 64 GB SanDisk because it was on sale at a great price, so I bought 2. I was attending a large family reunion in Hawaii and didn't even want to have to think about running out of room. I took over 1000 high resolution photos, even some brief videos, and never had to worry that I would have to put in another disk. The photos were high quality and a delight to all. I find I tend to keep the original disk as a photo backup so that the originals of important events are always available. Of course you can always clear the disk of all photos, use it again and back your photos up on your computer or an external hard drive, but I like to keep the originals on the disk which I date according to months and year, label and then file. May not be that practical but it's my quirky way of doing things.

The SanDisk - Ultra Plus 64GB SDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card offers fast speed, mainly for video. However, I find write times for my Nikon DSLR to be quicker than some of the other SD cards that I own. I am a little disappointed that Best Buy does not carry more selection of SD Cards in store. There is a Sandisk Ultra 64gb SDXC Class 10 card available at a lower cost. I could not determine the difference between "ultra-plus" and "ultra". Asking the NOT so KNOWLEDGEABLE associate, the canned reply was "these are faster". Yes but how much faster? BB also would not match the price of AMZ, even tho the ULTRA icard is basically the same thing. Anyway 64gb of space is sweet and Sandisk makes a quality product.

I got this card because it was recommended by the best buy associate. This card was for my Canon 77d I had purchased at the same time. I was going to get a Sandisk extreme pro, but he had told me that is over kill for my camera. I shoot in RAW and every photo is about 28 MB a photo. I can only get off about 6 shots at a time, untill the buffer fills up. The write speed of this card is not listed on manufactures website. I had to go to a third party camera memory card test webpage to see what it truly wrote. With other proper cards the camera will write up to about 80 MB/s. When writing to my computer it was only about 19 MB/s. This is also what the website had for its results.

Great extra media for a digial camera

I take a LOT of digital pictures. I figure storage is cheap enough that I can take a lot when I need to and then can sort them out later. In order to do this I often need to swap out my media because it can fill up. (I did say a LOT and I meant it.) I got 2 of these to allow me to take all the pictures I could possibly want. They are fast enough that I never wait for photos to save and I have not yet lost any photos due to the memory going bad. If you have a digial camera or other device that can use them and you need some extra storage, these cards are worth considering. About the only case I would say go with a faster model is if you were doing a lot of HD video recording. For those cases I recommend you go with the faster UHS-3 cards. Otherwise, grab a couple of these and you will be all set.

I bought two of these to increase the storage capacity of lower-end (HP Stream) Laptops for my daughters. They stick out just slightly on the side of the HP Laptops, but that is a laptop design issue - not a defect of these cards. I set them up as the default storage for the laptops, and it seems to be working fine. Read and write speed does not appear to be an issue - these laptops are mostly used for web surfing or playing online educational games, and have an Intel® Celeron® processor. Overall, these cards increased the value of the laptops much more than the cost of the investment.

I bought this product as part of a camera bundle offer, and I absolutely love that I never have to delete a photo (or feel like I do) when I use this memory card. It has enough space to store hundreds of photos on it (I still haven’t reached the capacity), as well as videos too. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to take lots of pictures or videos with a point and shoot camera.

I tried multiple brands of (micro-)SD cards over the years, but Sandisk seems to be the only one that works as fast as it should in all of my devices (a.o. Motorola smartphone, Acer Chromebook, HP laptop, Canon camera). Sure, I had a faulty card once, but I got a new one straight away. I bought this particular 64GB class 10 SD card on Cyber Monday as extra storage for my Chromebook. It worked flawlessly straight away, it transfers movies quite fast and because of Cyber Monday it was ridiculously cheap. My advice: When the Sandisk Ultra/Ultra Plus 64GB class 10 SD cards hit $15 again, buy a whole stack of them. I know I will.

I bought this memory card to expand the memory of my Apple MacBook Air. I store all types of files on it and it has never caused me a single moment of worry. I had two thumb drives that I've used in the past. On numerous occasions, the MacBook would not see the drives, so I was unable to access the files I had stored on them. I moved the files from those thumb drives to this card, inserted it in the computer and have never had a problem in the time I've had the card. I actually have a second one now--a mirror image of this one that I update weekly.

This SanDisk 64GB memory card is awesome! The amount of space for the low price! Definitely what I was looking for. This memory card holds a ton of pictures - that can be taken in super high quality, plus holds a lot of high-quality videos as well. Great speeds, excellent write-ability. When I want to take the pictures/videos off of the memory card, I just plug it into the computer/laptop and I am able to remove the files super easily. Highly recommend this memory card!

I got the card to use in my Canon DSLR while on vacation. The card worked fine for the first few days. I was able to shoot a few hundred pictures on it. On the fourth day my camera was unable to read the card and the only option I was given was to format it. I tried everything but was unable to access the card, losing all those pictures I will never get again. Good thing I brought some extra SD cards, no name brands, which worked without issue the rest of my trip. I will always be skeptical of purchasing any SanDisk in the future.

Purchased for one of my point and shoot cameras, this memory card has much more than enough data for long videos and a ton of pictures. I previously took a two week trip around Asia and Europe and brought a 32GB memory card along with me. I still had about 5 GBs of memory left at the end of the trip with that 32GB memory card. The only thing I truly exhausted were the batteries with the flurry of pictures and videos that I captured during the trip (make sure you bring several charged batteries with you!). With that being said, this 64GB memory card should provide way more space (double!) than my previous memory card. Highly recommended.

I bought this memory card (two actually) to use for pictures of a recent trip and wedding. While I always upload the pictures I take to a hard drive for storage, I like that this card is big enough to hold all the pictures and videos I might take during a trip. The only problem I ran into was that one of my older cameras that uses SD cards wouldn't work with this card because the storage is too big! I can only use a 32GB or smaller (which I didn't know at the time). But, it works in my main camera just fine. Great memory card!

I purchased several of these before I started a three week trip to Italy and Switzerland. Would be taking a ton of photos and I shoot in both jpg and RAW formats for every picture. Surprised me that one of these was all I needed. Still had room to spare when I got home. True, I do not shoot videos with my Nikon but still I shot a whole lot of pictures. Was very happy with capacity. There are faster card but the few times I shot in continuous mode the card kept up.

I often purchase memory cards from Best Buy and have consistently received quality products for reasonable cost. This particular SanDisk is no exception. It works well with my Canon DSLR 80D camera. It’s not the fastest card, but it is more than adequate for my purposes. Only time and use will tell about its longevity. My previous experiences with SanDisks have always been very good. In order to receive your best value, I recommend purchasing these memory cards when they are marked down for a sale. The regular retail price is too high.

Sandisk are about the only SD cards that I would recommend. First, I have never had one go bad. Second, they have a space on the card which you can actually write on with pencil or marker. Being able to label cards is a big deal. Some brands such as Lexar don't have a space to write on, and even an Industrial Sharpie is not permanent on their shiny foil label. My only complaint is, what Best Buy shows online, and what they have at your selected store are usually not the same. Similar, but not the same. You'd think they would care a bit more about their inventory control system.

This memory card is of the highest quality and has a very large capacity. It is an outstanding product at the regular price but having it on sale was an added bonus. It produces very high quality pictures and videos. I take a lot of still photos and video of grandchildren's ball games and dancing classes and reviews and am completely satisfied with the performance of this memory card. I recommend it for any device that can handle regular sized cards. It is a very high quality product. I purchased one then returned the next day to purchase two more.
