To pricy and not good. A same $40 stands can do from amazon

Missing parts so the Geek Squad made ‘do’ and it works. A bit wobbly.

I read some of the reviews about difficulty assembling these stands. Although I did use a cordless driver, I did not have any problems what so ever. Both stands were out of the box and assembled within a half an hour. Once together they feel solid and look great. The hardest part of assembly was wrapping the plastic sheet that covers the speaker wire. If you lay the stand down even this step is not very difficult. I am happy with these especially when you factor in the price. If your looking for a reasonably priced, solid, good looking stand this is a great choice.

I need stands I can fill w sand for stability. These are not useful for me.

I bought the last available IKEA speaker stands for some heavy Polk Audio Bookshelfs and Surrounds. They where a woobling mess!!! Went to the local best buy because I need to get the system done. They had one pair on the shelf and one pair in the stock room. Same kid that sold me my Toshiba HD DVD Player saved the day again!! Got them assembled and my heavy, ( 21-28 lb/pr shipping weight ) Polk Speakers are rock solid!!! Very nice design matches my other Home ET funiture. Save money by ordering them online if you have the time. Four stars only because of the high price I paid locally.

Took about 20 minutes to assemble, no problems with putting in the longer screws as I lubed them with Joy dishwashing liquid so they went in easy. They look great with my Bose bookshelf speakers happily perched on top. Really put the finishing touch on my surround sound set-up. So glad BestBuy had these available online, arrived just a couple of days after I ordered, no damage and well packed.

Very good stands. good for book shelf speakers. We would not recommnend any thing bigger than that. We like the way you can hide the speaker wire thru the holes once assembled

This is a great product and doesn't produce any sound even when speakrs are turned up all the way. The cable management is the most difficult task unless you don't have an electric screw driver, if no just give up, you'll never get it together. The stands are extreamly sturdy on carpet but only slightly less on hard wood floor. I have had two others friends purchase this product and they too agree that these are good products if you put them together correctly.

Piece of cake to put together- 15 minutes with a power screwdriver. Very stable, even on carpet. Sleek design looks great anywhere.

After reading the reviews on here I hesitantly purchased these speaker stands. Well thankfully I didn't run into the assembly problems others did. They were easy to put together, there was a point when it became somewhat difficult to turn the screws but not bad at all. The various mount and foot options are nice. They work great with my Klipsch B-3 bookshelfs.

No complains, its a stand and does what it was built to do. It looks good, height is perfect for seated position.

The stands look nice once assembled, but putting them together can be a bear! The problem is the two long screws that secure the bottom base to the central pillar. The predrilled pilot holes seem to be way too small and shallow. The directions state you can use a little soap on the threads (which I used plenty of) to help with the assembly process. I think I spend an hour trying to get 4 longs screws in. I am no weakling and it took about all my strength to get the screws in the last 1/3rd of the way. Literally, with all my weight and turning fractions at at time with both hands to hear a small "creak" sound to indicate the screw went in another fraction of an inch! It was insane. I am surprised I did not break off the head of the screws or strip the heads! The other stand was pretty tough but not as bad as this. Placing the wire guide on was not difficult, but it did mar the back of the pillar. The guide is basically two peices of rectangular plastic that you bend in a "half curve" length wise and insert into two grooves along the pillar. While inserting these, it tended to chip away small bits while you tried to get the edges in the groove. Nothing a black sharpie wont fix, but still rather annoying (and its on the back side so not really noticable). I just purchased some 22lb JBL L830's bookshelf speakers, and I just didn't feel the two screws and wood combination gave as much sturdiness I was looking for. I am going to return this set and get the metal SF30's, which are a bit more expensive, but can be filled with shot or sand for extra heft. Oh, Similar to the other reviewers experience, I found I had started to split one of the pillars just as I was finishing the last screw turn. Not enough problem to return them for that, just need more stability.

Good product for money. Easy to assemble. Attractive design that blends in with my TV/Audio.

Overall, easy to put together, look good, and solidly made. Quite happy with them and glad I bought them. One minor annoyance (and thus not 5 stars) the speaker wire "management" system is a pain to install. That said, much to my surprise once I had the patience to fiddle with it (and you will fiddle) it looks very good.

Product came, missing screws, & damaged. It's also far to small to hold my Polk Audio speakers. I chatted wt Best Buy prior to purchase, and was told they would work great wt my speakers.

I bought this stand for my new surround speakers, and couldn't even get them together. The first stand SPLIT while I screwed in the base. The holes stripped out while attaching the base on the second one. I will return them and buy something else.
