Sanus Elite stands - Just what I needed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed new stands to go with my new Sonos Era 100’s. Cool thing is that these stands work for both the Era 100’s and Era 300’s. When buying high end speakers it’s always smart to match them with higher end looking stands. These definitely fit the bill. They were super easy to assemble and directions are very easy to understand. The stands have a very solid base that works for both softer carpet surfaces and hard surfaces. The base feet are interchangeable from rubber to spikes. Easy adjustable height stands that can adjust to your preferred listening needs. It also hides the wires very well on the back that have also have rubber inserts that keep the wires from popping out the back. I really like how they are secured to the top and feel very sturdy. Some stands in the past have not felt as sturdy and have been known to fall. They have a slight sheen black finish that goes perfectly with my solid black Sonos system. Overall I am very satisfied with these stands and recommend to anyone upgrading to Sonos’s new Era speakers.

Sleek and Sturdy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really enjoying the functionality and look that the SANUS Elite Sonos stand provides for my Sonos 300. The ability to put my speaker just about anywhere for better sound instead of keeping it on a specific surface is a win for me. I was a little uneasy about the Sonos tipping over but as soon as I actually attached it on the stand that worry dissipated. The stand is so sturdy and stable that it keeps the Sonos in place even when there is movement around it. The stands provided have an opening in the back and under the base that keeps the cables neatly tucked and hidden away. The stand is adjustable to desired height, up to 17”. One thing to note is that the box it comes in is very heavy. Getting a second pair of hands or a dolly will make transporting it a lot easier. That said, once built, the weight of stands individually are manageable. There are two stands provided in the package. It is incredibly easy to put together with just a Phillips screwdriver. Another plus is that the hardware provided is packaged and labeled individually for each stand, so if you do not need both stands at once, there is no worry about the second’s hardware getting lost or mixed up. The stand also includes carpet spikes that will help keep the stand more stable in carpeted areas, if desired. I am overall glad to have elevated my Sonos experience with these stands and really appreciate the sleek look every time I look at my freestanding Sonos.

Super heavy and sturdy!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, I was really surprised on how heavy this stand is. I wasn’t expecting much but it really impressed me on how well it made. The set up was fairly easy. It comes with all the tools needed to put it together. Once it’s put together then you can attached your speaker, I currently owned the Sonos Era 100. The speaker sits on the top of the stand and it’s very well secured. The electric cable tucks and hides in the back of the stand giving it a very clean look. There is a small handle in the back that helps adjust the heigh of the stand which you would definitely need some man power to push up and down. I really like the sturdiness of this Sanus Elite stand especially when its holding a expensive speaker. The height is just right at the ear level when sitting down so it’s perfect when listening to music or watching a movie. I definitely recommend Sanus Elite stand to anyone looking for a sturdy and firm stand, Sanus Elite stand is made to last for a very long time. Stunning stand that will make your Sonos Speaker really stand out from the rest.

Stout
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is for the SANUS Elite - Adjustable-Height Speaker Stands for Sonos Era 100 and 300 Speakers (I have the Era 100) — Initially, I was surprised at the overall weight of the boxed pair of stands. I live in earthquake country, about 100 yards from the San Andreas fault, so this is a good thing. I know that the Era 100s do not make this setup top-heavy — each speaker is about 5 lbs., while each stand is about 15 lbs. Perfect. Assembly of the stands was easy and straightforward. The manual was clear and the included hardware was well-marked (see pics). The only tool you’ll need is a screwdriver with a medium to large bit/head. With a slot in the rear of each of the stand’s uprights, hiding cords gives it a clean look. And best of all, these stands are adjustable in height. Sanus may be the only company that provides this feature, and at a much better price point. There is just the right amount of friction when adjusting height. The speaker doesn’t come crashing down when I depress the release lever. In fact, I had to add pressure from above to lower the speaker if I had raised it too high. Good job, Sanus. The base comes with either rubber feet or carpet spikes, depending upon your needs. I like ‘em. They look classy. You can’t go wrong with these.

Great for ERA 300's. Features, Assembly, Quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ERA 300's fit and secure to these stands very nicely. Clearly the stand was designed for these speakers, so the stand aesthetically matches the speaker. Height adjustment is easy to align them with your listening position's ear level. No tilt, if that would matter to you, though. The ERA 300's power cord hides within the stand, then exits the base, so it's a very clean look. Quick easy assembly: base, two posts, and speaker rest (separate rest for ERA 100's also included). These have a nice heavy base and the pieces are precisely machine for exacting assembly, so they look and feel high quality. Not wobbly even extended to full height.

Clean looking, adjustable speaker stand.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sanus Elite Adjustable Height speaker stands for the Sonas Era 100 and 300 Speakers is a great addition to this awesome speaker. First, thing you need to know is these speakers stands come in a pair. They come in a box with instructions and the parts necessary to for either the Sonas Era 100 or 300 speakers. There are different parts used for the different speakers. The instructions are very clear and concise and and parts are labeled and separated for ease of assembly. Included in the box are rubber pads or carpet spikes depending on where you are going to set your speaker stand. The charging cord for the speaker feeds through the stand so it is not visible and is very pleasing to the eye. The stand comes with a tool to allow you to adjust the height of the speakers stands. That was the only confusing part to me during assembly - but once I figured it out I was able to raise and lower the stand to the perfect height. These speaker stands are perfect for anyone that wants a clean look in your home and has the Sonas Era 100 or 300 speakers.

Excellent Accessory For Sonos Era Speakers
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a Sonos Era speaker, the Sanus Stand for Sonos Era 100 or 300 speaker is an excellend companion. Myfirst takeaway was the sheer weight... I had my hands full with another large package and I asked my 18 year old daughter if she could grab the other package. I noticed the look on her face as she went to pick it up and said how heavy it was. When we got it inside and I went to pick it up, I was honestly surprised with the weight. It's just a shade under 28 pounds. Nice start. After opening the box, both units were fully assembled in 20 or so minutes. Althought I didn't use them, after assembling them I took tour of the included instructions. For a rare change the instructions were clear, clean and concise. Well done Sanus. As for the aesthetics, these are nice looking and compliment to Sonos Era product line very well. I appreciate the inclusion of the rubber channel locks to keep the enclosed power cable handsomely tucked away. Another nice inclusion is on the rear side where the extending rod meets the base, they included a handy "key storage" place for the key that's required to extend the shaft. In all, an excellent choice.

Very nice stands.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice stands. Very easy to assemble. Box is a bit heavy so be careful when you pick it up. My first suggestion is that if you buy these hit your local hardware store and buy 4 M6 x 20mm Socket Head Cap Screws Metric. You will really wish you did. The two screws that go into the base that ship with the unit have phillips head on them but they strip pretty quick. I didn't use any power tools just a regular screw driver. One stand currently only has one screw in it because of how bad I stripped the head. My fault obviously. It went in about 3/4 of the way and would not budge any further so I took it out and put some silicon on it thinking that would help. Nope, just made me over confident which is how I have only one screw holding the base together now. Aside from the fun times I had with one of the stands these are a great addition to your setup if you have either the Era 100 or 300. The height adjust is very easy to do once you have the speakers mounted on the stand and make sure you do not loose the key that comes with the stand in case you need to adjust the height down after you pulled it up. Goes up relatively easy. I stood on the base for leverage to pull the arm up so be mindful of the height you set it at (that is where the key comes into play) if you loose the key you are going to have a ton of fun trying to lower the stand. Don't use any power tools to drive any of the screws. Be mindful of how far you adjust the height because if you go too high you will definitely need an extension cord. Read the instructions. (I know right) Pick up a set of M6 x 20mm Socket Head Cap Screws. You'll need four. Two for each stand in the bases. They look good and are doing their job well so I have no complaints. Just be sure you have the height adjustment done before mounting the speaker onto the stand. Once they are mounted it becomes a lot of fun trying to move it around and tighten screws. As Stan Lee used to say... Nuff said!!

Great looking adjustable stands for Sonos Era 300s
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are nice looking speaker stands and look purpose made for the Sonos speakers. The base is quite heavy and sturdy and holds the speaker well. That said, I have the Sonos Era 300’s (which are pretty heavy themselves). I have these as surround speakers beside my couch and they are very close to a hallway, so I’m just a little worried about them getting knocked over. Probably not an issue if where you are placing them isn't near a walkway. They were easy to setup and literally only took about 10-15 mins to set up the pair. They have both pointy nubs or rubber feet to use for either carpet or hard flooring. The stands hide the speaker cable well down the groove in the back. Speaker height adjustment is easy and I didn’t experience any issues like some other reviews, so I believe this is the 2nd generation of these that have that issue solved. Given its slim profile, just make sure you place these where they won’t get easily bumped by kids or pets. I think these are probably an excellent fit for the Era 100’s which would be less top heavy. These do come with brackets for both the Sonos Era 100’s and Era 300’s so you can use them for either.

Better than the Sonos stands!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These stands are heavy-duty! I have owned many surround sound stands, and these are by far the best. The speakers sit perfectly in the stand. I love that they are adjustable, and the cords can be hidden by the slipcovers that come with the kit.

These new stands are stable and work great
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After purchasing two Era 300 speakers to use as surrounds, I was bummed when stands for these weren't available from Sonos until June and hearing that the first version of the Sanus stands were having stability issues (some found they weren't staying at the height and sliding down), they became unavailable as well. Recently, these stands quietly appeared on bestbuy.com with a new model number, so I took a chance and pre-ordered. Got them a couple days ago, set them up, and they work great. Once you have them at the height you want, you pull out the "trigger" piece and push the 4 rubber clips into the back of each stand's "pillar" and they won't move. If you want to raise, just hold the speaker base and pull up. To lower, you push the trigger back in, hold the speaker base, and this allows it to be lowered. Once you're happy with the height, remove the trigger again and replace the clips. The great thing about this new version of the stands (model BSSEA2-B1) is that the have a plate for both the Era 100 & 300, and they cost less than the original version which only had support plates for either version of the speaker, So now you have both options for a lower price than the original single option version. I'm a bit Sonos obsessed, so you can be sure I've measured the height I originally set a few times over the last few days and can confirm that they have not lowered at all. The base plate is heavy and overall they look and feel like a quality product. I'm very happy with these stands.

Worth its weight
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos 300 speaker is a pretty hefty speaker as it is, but to put it on top of a thin looking pole just feels sketchy. However, these stands hold it in place. These are really heavy and a little bit of a workout to put together, but not difficult. The instructions are pretty simple, but feel they could have done a little better on the steps and labeling. All the parts are in there for a pair of either the Sonos 300 or Sonos 100 speakers. The only thing different is the bracket that holds the speaker and the screws to connect it to the speaker. With a phillips head screwdriver, there are only a few things to attach, tuck in the wires and you're done. There are carpet spikes or rubber feet for the base, a few rubber pieces to keep the wire in the channel and a little piece of plastic called the trigger that you want to keep in a memorable place. Adjusting the speaker higher is simply done by lifting the speaker up. However, to lower it you need that trigger inserted to press and let it down. As for stability of the stand, it does wobble a bit, but I pushed it around a bit and it never felt like it was going to fall over without some real force even at its highest. Meaning the floor shaking from someone jumping around or a slight elbow bump isn’t likely to knock it over. Overall, the weight of the base is certainly doing its job in holding the Sonos 300 in a stable position. In all actuality it seems to have improved the sound from the speaker as it is not bouncing audio off of the surface it was originally sitting on. If you ever get bored and feel like working out though, you essentially have a 24 lbs barbell that can play music (joking).

Nice appearance but a bit unstable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was eager to try out this stand with my Sonos Era 300 speaker. (Note there are two stands in the package.) When the stands arrived, I was impressed with the weight of the package. These are heavy. But not too heavy to move around. These stands are made specifically for Sonos ERA 100 or Sonos Era 300 speakers. The brackets likely won’t work with any other speakers. What’s in the box: 2 stand bases 2 stand uprights/pillars 2 speaker brackets specifically for Sonos Era 300 speakers 2 speaker brackets specifically for Sonos Era 100 speakers 2 sets of hardware that includes screws, washers, rubber pads, carpet spikes, clips and height adjustment triggers Paper assembly instructions Note especially if you have Sonos Era 100 speakers, there are two separate small hardware packs tucked into the cardboard packing. They are easy to miss. Don’t throw them out with the packing material! Assembly was easy and the instructions were clear. All needed hardware is included, and assembly only requires a regular Phillips screwdriver (screwdriver not included). Do make sure and follow the instructions in the correct order. For example, cables really do need to be routed before the pillar is attached to the base. Also pay attention when installing the speaker brackets. Steps 4 and 5 are different depending on if you have Sonos Era 100 or 300 speakers. The stand matches the color of the speaker well and the overall appearance is nice. However, the stand is not nearly as stable as I think it should be. The base sits firmly on the floor, but the pillar is a bit wobbly. I even went back and ensured that all of the assembly screws were thoroughly tightened. But it still isn’t exactly rock solid. I think it is good enough. But honestly, I felt better about having my expensive Sonos speaker on a secure shelf. So, if you need stands for your Sonos Era 100 or 300 speakers, especially if you have a pair of them, these stands look nice and will work. But if your speakers are happily sitting on a shelf, you may want to leave them there.

Rock solid stands
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great stands. Very solid build. I was worried about these being wobbly especially with the heavy Era300's mounted on them, but they have been rock solid. My only complaint is that they are very overpriced for what you get. I was fortunate to find them as an open box through Best Buy which made them more reasonable.

Sleek & heavy duty
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great pair of heavy duty sleek speaker stands that bring accent and great sound to my living room. I love the adjustable piece, because it allows me to place my speakers right at ear level & below hanging pictures. It’ll take a pretty hefty intentional push to knock them over. Because the base has a great amount of weight and stability, along with the stand itself. If you have the ERA 300 speakers. I strongly suggest these (adjustable) stands. The non adjustable stands would not have cleared the height of my couch. Therefore the sound of one of my speakers under the picture (see in images) would have been blocked.
