However since tripod mount point is not centered - it's shifted a little to the back side of it - it has good resistance if you tilt it back and forth and not so good if you tilt it to the side.

The speakers are 3.5 inches square, these stands were the smallest I could find at 5 inches square. They look great, hide the wires well and they stay put the way they are suppose to. I highly recommend these stands. I also like the tripod look. A sinch to assemble.
