I was a little leery at first, you don't want to ruin the wall and have your flat screen destroyed in one failed effort. Once I opened the box and read the instructions with the supplied stud finder, installing this myself became a no brainer. I considered having Geek Squad come out and do the install, but what kind of self respecting man would I be to have someone else come into my home to install something that simply requires no more than an ability to understand the instructions, know how to operate a drill, and a screwdriver. So I went to work & voila I had a perfect DIY TV mount installed in less than 30 minutes. The quality of the materials used in this particular mount were far superior to any of the other products sold at Best Buy, Target, Home Depot, or Lowes. Trust me I looked/researched for quite some time before I decided to purchase this particular product. The supplied manufacturer warranty is an added bonus and afforded me the opportunity to not purchase the BB service plan. My advice if you're on the fence definitely purchase this product you won't be disappointed. Even if you have to have the Geeks come out because you aren't so inclined you'll be most totally satisfied with this TV mount. One other caveat is that this mount gives you greater flexibility in viewing angle range as well.

This was just what I needed to mount the TV over the media console. My family is enjoying the tilt and swivel features as well as its capacity to extend. Great product!

I've looked for a FULL Motion (Tilts Forward) bracket for several months now for my 55" Flat screen.. This has been the best I could find, I've had the TV on the wall now for 6 months and this Bracket is Great absolutely Love It.

Full motion is the only way to go for this application . It's equally easy to access the back of the tv . * note - full motion also enables you to mount on any stud and move it where you want it .

Installed by a liscensed electrician . Won't hold the TV straight for more than an hour.

Love this thing. Easy installation into a stud. Very sturdy and supportive. I like being able to extend the tv and slightly tilting it for the perfect viewing angle. My desk also sits to the right so I can easily turn it to face me at the desk and angle it however I want. The included did finder is useful and can be used for other applications. Different adapters included for a range of televisions. I mounted a 55 inch Samsung without issue. Great product though slightly pricey. Price match to Amazon to save a few bucks if you can.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quick the Best Buy technician got this installed, supporting a 46" Sony Bravia (also from Best Buy). The ability for the mount to pan and swivel are very nice. I can go from Landscape to Portrait by turning the whole screen 90 degrees (physically) while mounted, allowing me to work on full size documents which is pretty cool The A/V sales guy suggested this mount and I'm glad he did, as I wouldn't have been as happy with the mount I was looking at. This is an awesome mount! So easy to install amazing range of motion. I have a 56" Panasonic led, and was concerned that it would be too large for the mount but after speaking to an associate decided to try it out since the weight limit would not be exceeded. Works perfectly and I love that it only needed two screws unlike my old mount that used 4.

I have bought and used 2 of these wall mounts for 2 identical Samsung 60" plasmas. The Sanus box states the mount is for 40-50" tvs but I can verify it will work well for tvs up to 60", at least for the older non-smart tv and non-3D Samsungs I've used them with. I have mine both mounted on a wall very close to a corner and position the tvs on an angle that spans the corner. I've used one in my bedroom for almost a year now with excellent results. I recently bought another for a tv in my family room. These units are sturdy, attractive and easy to install.. I would describe it as a quality mount at a reasonable price. If you're buying it for a tv larger than 50", however, I would suggest making sure your TV's weight does not exceed the stand's rated weight capacity.

Just as the title says, it was 2 lag bolts into pre-drilled holes in a wooden stud (studfinder included even) and the bracket was up. It actually took longer to put the other bracket piece on the back of the tv - but this kit has all the parts necessary for any make or brand and includes some very detailed yet simple instructions.. I've put ip these before, and they can be quite a hassle as well as time consuming. Not so here maybe 20 minutes start to finish? And the hanging-up of the tv was easy - it just locks into place with a click and you're good to go. There's a quick release handle even for taking the tv off. Excellent range of motion in all directions, although the tilt up and down could be just a hair more in my opinion, but it is very very rugged, was easy to install, and does everything it says it will. It even has channels with clips to hide cables to and from the tv should you feel it necessary. Very very pleased.

This TV wall mount works perfectly. I love the fact that it swivels and has a wide range of motion, mounts really easily to any wall with studs. Would recommend this to anyone that needs to constantly move the TV out of the way or just hanging in a corner.

We purchased the Sanus full motion TV mount at the same time we purchased a 50" Samsung LED TV. The installation was simple and the instructions easy to comprehend. It has a good range of motion, but not as much as it should be because the width of the TV limits it. We did run into an issue with the screws included with the mount being too short. A quick call to Sanus Customer Service solved the problem. When we described our issue, the rep knew immediately that we were installing a Samsung TV with his product. He told us to look for a bag of longer screws taped to the packing material that was added for Samsung products. It was in the box but not in the package of mounting hardware. We had missed it in our excitement to get the project finished so we could enjoy it. Problem avoided and solved within 5 minutes.

My TV is not going anywhere. I used this TV mount to mount my TV in front of a 8' library bookcase in my living room by cutting out a back piece of the bookcase and running the mount through. The extended, full-motion arm was key in getting the TV to lay just in front of the shelves. Follow the installation instructions to a T, and you will have no problem getting everything put together and mounted fairly quickly. I was also pleasantly surprised the box included a nifty little stud finder that I'm now keeping for other home projects. I wish this mount was a bit cheaper, but it seems to be the only high quality mount of its kind on the market.

From start to finish, finding the stud with the use of the magnetic studfinder that comes with the rack (it's a keeper for my toolkit - will probably never use a regular studfinder ever again), putting the rack on the TV, and the TV on the wall, it all took about 1 hour (and I'm not exactly a handyman). It works like a charm. I can extend my TV 1/4th of the space of my entire living room (if I ever actually wanted to do that). All I care about is that it holds the TV sturdy but allows me to tilt it's direction and moves out far enough to make hooking and unhooking wires very easy. It does all this and more. I only gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because my worst fear is that it would eventually not live up to it's claim about it's weight threshold. So it really probably deserves a 5, but the true rating will come after 2 years if it's still holding its weight without showing signs of giving.

I am a female that weighs maybe 100 lbs. I installed this on my own- I am athletic and do work out but am not that strong. I am not saying this was an easy install (I actually had to buy a new ratchet with a longer handle (more leverage) because I was not strong enough to get the wall screws in with the wall with the one I owned. I rather enjoyed the project and the mount places sturdily. Once installed, all you have to do is pick up the tv and hang it like you would a picture. And the swivel and motion are wonderful. The magnetic stud finder it comes with is super handy and I will use it in the future for other projects.

Nice and sturdy. Love the fact that you can pull and tilt the bracket to angle your flat screen TV any way you desire. Fairly easy to install. I think it took us all of 2-hours to read the directions and mount the bracket to the wall, then secure our large flat screen TV. Caution, you definitely need 2 people to mount your large flat screen TV to the bracket since the TV is so heavy, plus you need each person peering behind the TV to make sure you hook the TV into the bracket. Very pleased with this bracket!

This was super simple to install. It came with a stud finder. My 10 year old and I had it installed within an hour. The directions were step by step and easy to follow. I was especially impressed by the video on you tube from the company for this specific model number. I love that the TV can swivel almost a full right angle on each side. Definitely worth the investment!

Bought this to mount my 48in flat screen in my Garage. I love the range of motion. I can move it so the tv is in great view no matter where I am in the garage/shop. I have installed maybe 50 flat screen mounts with my old commercial construction job (did a lot of restaurants), This one is the best I have used by far. Simple instructions and mounting. Clearly and cleanly laid out.

Had limited options for a big screen in a room. Being able to wall mount and leave flush against the wall when not in use and then pull it out and turn the TV to watch it is easy and fluid. Out of the way when not needed and maneuverable when pulled out to watch TV.

This type of wall mount for TVs is super easy to mount to the wall. I recommend this mount even if you only want a flat to the wall type of mount. This is much easier to install! You can swing the tv out from the wall to attach cables, and then push it close to the wall. Or position the TV almost anywhere. Highly recommended.
