I upgraded to a 55" TV and couldn't really use a wall mount because the location is in a corner with view windows that meet very close together. With this base, I was able to use my existing floor console. The base is of high quality and was offered at a good price. It looks nice and compliments my other furniture well. Although I probably won't pivot it much, I like the swivel capability. Very nice base!

The device was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. I recommend highly.

Well made stand heavy duty quality. All sorts of hardware provided to accommodate many diffeent brands of TV. Once assembled, it is devised such that one person can "hang the TV" on the ample sized stand base. Offers a swivel function and an ability to direct the face of the TV further up or down.

Great product. It looks great. Easy to assemble (once I realized my Samsung TV came with the correct spacers). All parts were sorted and labeled, and it included anything you might need. Can now watch TV from both living room and dining room and at a better height. Plus TV cabinet looks cleaner and less cluttered. I wish they made a smaller one to use with our office TV.

This is a very sturdy base for a TV up to 60 inches. It swivels nicely and gives you a choice of heights for the TV. It is relatively easy to change the height of the TV. It has a fairly large base plate which might project further forward than the unit you are placing it on. The only thing to be aware of is that it is quite heavy - but then, it’s sturdy!

This product was perfect for my application and I was very pleased with the fantastic high quality of the product! The 65" Samsung TV that I purchased would not fit in my entertainment center due to the height of the legs. Once the legs were removed and this swivel base install I was a happy camper and really pleased with the simple and quick assembly. Oh yes and I did say 65" which was larger than the specs called for but this worked perfectly!

I needed a TV stand, since the flat screens legs are so far out they barely fit on my old TV stand. Did not want to mount it to the wall and then I saw this stand. Heavy-duty stand, it will not tip over. The only problem with this stand is it is made to be used on a broad spectrum on TV's. The bracket on the stand went right over the input/output on the back of the TV. Not enough room to plug in my optical cable. Found a 90 deg adapter online for the optical cable and now all's well.

Replaced a TV with a swivel base with one of better quality but without the swivel . This put the ability to swivel on my new TV which we use alot to view from different locations in the room . It is a really heavy duty mount, very well made and looks like it will hold up to anything. It is doing a great job for us.

Strong and sturdy. A little on the expensive side, but worth the cost if your TV is 32" to 50". Be aware that it may not work as well on a larger TV if you plan on using a sound bar. We had to make some adjustments with our 58" TV to make the sound bar and the TV remote usable together. So, again, be aware that with a 55"-60" TV the bottom of the TV may be lower than you want. And this also affects the functionality of the swivel. I would give it a 5 for strength, but the high price and the decreased functionality with the larger TV makes it a solid 3.5-4. Just do your homework!

This stand is all metal, it is super sturdy and well-built! Check the size of your TV stand. I was happy to not have to buy a larger TV stand because this one is a single pedestal instead of two wide-spaced legs. It is heavy, so be ready to lift it and maybe to lift your TV onto it.

I bought a new tv (Sony Bravia 55X900H) this weekend and needed a third party center stand so I could install it on my existing corner AV rack. I really hate the current trend by TV manufacturers getting away from center stands in favor of widely spaced legs but it is what it is. The Sanus stand was pricier than what I sourced online but I wanted to go ahead and set it up this weekend and due to the glowing reviews I figured I'd splurge and just get this stand with the TV. I was not disappointed. The first thing you notice is this is a substantial piece of equipment. It weighs more than 50% more than the TV I would be mounting to it. The Sony isn't the most expensive TV out there but it is a nice TV and it gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing it's being supported by this beast of a stand. Assembly is quick and easy. Features are great - cable management is clean and easy, tilt adjustment is solid and simple though it was perfectly level and I didn't have to adjust it after assembly, and the swivel works very well. Yes, a paid more than I intended for a TV stand but since manufacturer center stands seem to be going extinct, I will likely use this stand on future TVs as well. If you need one, the Sanus will not disappoint.

I purchase this tv base due to buying a 43 inch screen tv which would not fit on my table because the 2 end legs were too wide to fit. I was dreading the chore of putting this together but was pleasantly surprised that the instructions were clearly written. In addition, the company thought ahead and put additional screws and washers in which would fit a multitude of tv screens/manufacturers. I've saved those in case I ever switch out tvs. I'm a 71 year old female and a DIYer who took after a father who could do everything. My talents are not as great as my father's by a long shot and I have a husband who I forbid to even attempt to do anything like this because it would never be finished. I do believe a little of my father's talent rubbed off on me....Thank goodness or nothing would ever be finished in my house. It took me about 3 hours to set up. What took the longest was going through all the screws and washers to match the holes in the back of my tv. They aren't labeled by manufacturer and I understand since it would be impossible to do with all the various screen sizes, models and manufacturers. I really love that the base also swivels too.

Very Nice TV Stand, Works really well with my 40" Sony and my Sonos Sound Bar. you have to buy the Sanos brackets for the Sound Bar. Sold Separately. Also nice that it tilts left to right.

Mounted my Sony 55" onto this bad boy because I did not want to poke any holes into my walls and needed the flexibility to move it around. It was an easy set up - as long as you know how to read. Besides the huge Sanus logo and a little steep on price, this is practical and a great alternative to wall mounting a tv.

Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because both times delivered it came damaged. I would recommend purchasing in store. Friend of mine has this and it really is sturdy

Heavy base and good quality and design. Never knew about this product until sales associate showed it to me on the floor in the store. I am sold. Works great inside my entertainment unit.
