    We returned this item. We purchased this item thinking that we could use this swivel base on which we could mount our Sony 65" TV on our existing TV stand. The Sony TV we purchased would sit flat on our existing TV stand, but we needed to raise it off the TV stand for a couple of reasons: (1) to raise the TV to a more desirable height when watching TV; and (2) to enable the Sonos Arc to be placed slightly forward and below the TV (if we placed the Arc right in front of the TV, it would block part of the TV screen and block the signal from the TV remote). The swivel base stated that it could raise the TV by as much as 8 inches, which would be more than enough clearance for us (we only needed about 4.5 inches of clearance). When we had the Geek Squad agent over to install the TV on the swivel base for the reasons mentioned above, the agent said the swivel base would not raise our TV high enough to enable the Arc to sit below the TV. The agent stated that because we are mounting a 65" TV on the swivel base, it would only raise our TV by a couple of inches, thus not allowing us to place the Arc below the TV without partially blocking the TV. While the description of this swivel base states that it works for most TV's up to 60 inches, the actual box for the swivel base states that it will work for TV's up to 65 inches. However, this swivel base did not work for us so we returned it.
