However, the base is a bit big, so if you're trying to slip them under your couch, you may need to take measurements, as they're pretty heavy, and thus, not kind to your feet if you accidentally kick it

My only complaint and why I didn’t give 5 stars is that there is no way to hid or attach the speaker power cord to the stand. Clips on the back of the stand would have been a nice touch.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the appearance of the speaker stands, and best Buy online advised these for my new Samsung 5.1.2 Surround sound system, However, these are not universal, and are certainly NOT universal to the Samsung I bought. Unless, you prefer to use the 2-sided adhesive tape to stick them to the tops of the stands. (Not what i preferred, or purchased them for). Additionally, you can't find or buy any replacement 2-sided adhesive tape from the manufacturer IF you need to remove the speakers for any reason. I do not recommend these if you own a Samsung system.

If you’re like me and your place just doesn’t have a good place to mount your rears behind you these are the way to go. My dog hasn’t knocked them over yet, so that’s a good sign. I do have mixed feelings about the base being heavier, but that would have its drawbacks too.
