One of the poles don't go in straight and so the speakers aren't vertical without shimming. They also took a long time to assemble so I didn't return them. Since they are behind my couch I used wood shims under the base to make it stand vertical and look more upright. The threading on one of the bases was machined at a bad angle. So it was leaning. Disappointed.
