Customers highly value the sturdiness, height adjustability, and ease of assembly of these speaker stands. Many also appreciate the stands' attractive appearance and the improved sound quality they provide. While some users found wire management challenging and experienced minor fit issues with certain speaker models, the overall feedback is positive. The price point is also frequently cited as reasonable.

Does The Job Nicely

These stands are close to perfect for satellite speakers. They scan be assembled quite easily, although fishing the speaker wire through the tube can be a slight challenge. My wife was concerned that these stands would not fit the room's decor but once they were assembled and in place she was more satisfied than she expected. Previously the speakers were on the floor. Placing them higher and more to the rear of the room enhances the sound. Another set may be in our future (but don't tell my wife!).

Very well made and sturdy!! These are the easiest stands to put together. Took like ten minutes per stand! Also these look great!! They also include several different mounting hardware for different speakers and that is awesome!!!! These well exceded my expectations as far as any stand I thought I could buy!!! Thanks Sanus for making a stand so easy to put together and such great quality!!!!

Sanus Adjustable-Height Speaker Stands

I was concerned because I couldn't tell from pictures online whether the stands would work with my speakers. The speakers come with several adapters and directions for many speaker configurations. I can say for sure that they fit the front and surround speakers of a Sony Home Theatre DAV-285 system.
The base of each stand is heavy metal for stability and it comes with feet adapters for carpet or hardwood floors.
The height adjustment is a simple plastic piece that twists to lock and unlock.
There were lots of other stands online for a lot more money. These look good and were priced lower than most that I saw.

Rating this product was tough. The price was great. It did everything it said it would. The stands fit in with my home decor. They are heavy on the bottom, which keeps them steady. They look great. Others have said that they scratch easily, but I don't know how I would determine that. I built them and haven't touched them since. How would I go about scratching them? I don't move them. The only issue was with assembly. They have a TON of different brackets and screws, none of which fit my Best Buy purchased Insignia brand speakers. My set up option was to use the hole on the back of the speaker, hooked on to a screw head. The screw heads were all to big to get inside the hole on the speaker. I had to use my own screws.

Great Speaker Stand for Small Speakers

I bought these speaker stands for my front surround sound speakers. The bases of the speakers are sturdy, heavy cast metal, they provide plenty of stability for even medium sized speakers. They are also adjustable to accommodate each individuals needs. The stands come with multiple different attachments to ensure the majority of speakers can be attached. The tubes are also hollow, with a hole in the top, which allow the user to hide the wire which keeps the look very clean. The stands are meant for smaller speakers, but I am using them with my front speakers on my Samsung HT-D6500 which are 13.5" tall. I have the the adjustable upper part turned around backwards because the attachment point on the speaker is at the top and the speaker is so long it was contacting the riser shaft. The stand still works perfectly, the base is heavy and stable enough to handle larger speakers even with the riser and the offset turned around backwards.

Nice, solid speaker stands

These are nice, sold speaker stands. They're quite heavy, at least compared to the cheap stands I had before, and have a solid feel to them. They were easy to put together as well. The only issue I had was the instruction sheet was really confusing to me. When I threw it away and just put what fit together, it was a lot easier.
There's a bunch of ways to attach the speakers. There are L-shaped braces, and straight braces for either 1 or 2 holes in the speaker, and then a little stand you can use instead if you want. My Polk speakers mounted just fine with with the straight brace.
Oh, and they have something called 'carpet spikes' if you're putting it on carpet, to keep it in place. I didn't try them, though, and the stands sit just fine on their own, with a solid base, and don't seem in danger of tipping over.

These stands are very heavy! They are awesome! Seems like heavy duty material. They stand up real nicely. I love the fact that they are so sleek looking. Not a bad price for them either. I have two of these and then two Bose speaker stands. The Bose are a little nicer, but I like the way these are built better. Just my opinioin.

These speaker stands are way much cheaper than alot of them out there. I almost purchased the manufacturer speakers for double the price, for my definitive technology 600 speakers, but these stands work fine although some of the home theater store reps told me it probably wouldn't work.
The only problems are: One of the knobs to tighten the speaker to the stand (to hand speaker on) got stripped with the screw to hold the speaker on, Best Buy didn't have extras so they told me to contact the manufacturer, the manufactuer hasn't contacted me in two weeks, doesn't matter since I set the speakers up differently but that isn't the point. Stripping could have been my fault, not sure if it was made like that.
I then put them on the stand flat, it's an option to have the speakers sit on the stand, it worked and looked really good. The speaerks even stayed on tight, but once I put my 12 guage wire in them they fell off, I would suspect wire not as heavy would work fine.
I finally used the option to screw the speaker on the stand, whcih I use now. No problems with this feature, although since the speakers aren't custom fit they kind of angle up when I tightened the speaker on, but not really even that noticeable (my friend didn't even noticed until I pointed it out to him, he still thought they looked good), maybe they angle up 1-2 degrees, from 90.
All-in-all they are a sturdy stand, the spekers I bought will not fall off and the stand doesn't move, it is a little wobbly(not the speaker on the stand, the stand in general), but so were the manufacturers, that is another reason why I went with these. If you have smaller speakers than the ones I bought and smaller speaker wire, then this product is for you, it is also for you if you want to save money on maufactuer speaker stands like me and still be happy with a chaper$ (not so sure the quality is cheaper than more $ ones) but decent speaker stand.

I purchased these stands on sale, and feel there were worth the price. The stands are well designed and stable on carpet (for the small Bose speakers I have). The stands come with several adapters and hardware that should accommodate most speaker designs.

I put my definitive pro 600 satellites on stands which hold and look fantastic but only flaw was getting the speaker wire in hidden channel a task. For one I was unable to use 16 gauge which is recommended under a fifty foot run. So I had to use 14 and that was difficult but will help of needle nose plies and tweezers was able to do so. A tip tread wire from bottom section then top section before connect stands together. Took me and my wife 45 minutes . Once your past that it's a breeze . The stands have solid base and I used rubber feet for my situation on a pergo floor . Overall for the price it's well worth it.

Amazing Stands

These stands are some of the best that I've come across. They have a very sturdy base and the support poles make it very easy to hide the speaker wire, which keeps my living room a little less cluttered. You only need one tool to put all this together and it comes in the box. These stands will last a very long time. In fact it's very likely that they will outlast your surround sound system. They come with several different mounting brackets so that just about every type of standard surround speaker will fit with the stands. It also comes with either carpet spikes or small rubber feet so that it will be stable without damaging your floors. Amazing product.

Don't use for Klipsch

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
My local store had these, and I had some RZ coupons to use and thought they would make a nice addition to my home theater(and they would have been).
I have a set of the Klipsch Quintet speakers and was going to use these for the two front speakers. Even with 3-4 brackets, these simply are not designed for Klipsch. I'm about to box it up and return it.
Note: The quality is great, and the stands themselves are sturdy and easy to put together. Just be VERY careful to make sure your speakers are compatible.

I purchased these speaker stands because there were other reviews that painted a decent picture of the overall aesthetics, ease-of-assembly, and price. My personal experience is that in all three of those categories, these speaker stands met or exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, the speakers I mated them to (Yamaha) were not 100% compatible with the connection hardware, nomatter the configuration chosen. I was able to use them, but ended up having to "fudge" a solution that left the speakers looking less than perfect in their assembled state. I recommend these stands, but be aware that you may have to get creative to make them work for you.

I wasn't sure of the quality when I was making the purchase, but these stands are a great buy for the money. It was easy to assemble and I had the stand complete and the speaker mounted in a matter of minutes. Seems to fit a variety of speakers. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for quality speaker stands.

These stands look nice and are easy to assemble. Speakers attach easily to stands with assembly parts provided. They are height adjustable but could have been made taller. These sturdy metal stands with grips to hold on carpeting are attractive and reasonably priced.

They are built really well, I bought them for the rear speakers for my vizio 5.1 sound bar. Only thing is I wish they were a bit taller, they barely are higher than my sectional. But they are well built and were easy to install.

Work great for me

These stands work great for me. I have medium weight satallite speakers (Infinity TS1200), but have the height adjustment at the lowest level. Also, my floors are carpeted which is important since the bases are designed with teeth to dig into the carpet and not slide. The cost of these stands were the biggest factor in my purchase, especially when compared with other name brand or custom stands. These stands are great within their design limitations. If you want to mount heavier speakers at extended height or where they; are likely to be bumped or on wooden floors, you may want to consider alternatives.
