Customers highly value the sturdiness, height adjustability, and ease of assembly of these speaker stands. Many also appreciate the stands' attractive appearance and the improved sound quality they provide. While some users found wire management challenging and experienced minor fit issues with certain speaker models, the overall feedback is positive. The price point is also frequently cited as reasonable.

These stands worked out great for me. I've always mounted my front speakers but in our new home we couldn't with the way the tv is set up. These stands do a great job. They are very well built and they come with many, many mounting options. I'm really happy with them.

Replaced my 2nd pair of Sanus - Adjustable Speaker Stands (Pair) - Black Satin (Model: EFSATBSKU: 4966754) when the set screws would not hold (See my other review). This set works much better, but there are too many foot pads to stick on.

Bought a pair for the rear speakers for my surround sound system. Liked them so much I bought another pair for the front speakers. Well made, nice and heavy so thy don't move around, wires can be routed inside the stand. Very pleased.

While the height does clear the back of the couch, they could be a foot higher.

Disappointed with Longevity

We bought these for our new 5.1-channel home theater system in December 2012, attaching a small, lightweight Yamaha front speaker to each. Assembly was rather tedious, but eventually they were up and the height was properly adjusted. However, even with the stands fully hand tightened, they still had a tendency to turn with the slightest touch and would slip down an inch or two. A good wrench and cloth to protect the finish was required to completely tighten the stands. The pole on which each speaker was attached still seemed to turn within the stand, but at least the stands didn't lower on their own.
For over a year they seemed to work well. Earlier this year, I noticed one speaker was tipping forward, and realized the other one was tipping forward as well, directing the sound slightly toward the floor. After some sleuthing, I found the mount for each speaker is attached inside the top post via friction, and the mounts had come loose and wouldn't keep the speakers upright. Unfortunately, the stands are outside the warranty period, so I'm rather stuck with them. Sure, they still hold the speakers up, but they should be directed at the listener rather than angled down.

Used with Onkyo HT-s3300 HTiB. Worked great. Hides wires and looks good. Appears to be highly versatile for many different types of speakers.

Good quality build, but too short

These speaker stands are certainly sturdy, and easily held my Polk Audio satellite speakers. However, the height is really low. Even at the highest setting, the speakers barely reach above the back of my couch. I wanted something just above ear level, and these actually sit about 6 inches below the back of my head.

Cannot fit 16 gauge wire

The price was fair for the quality of the product, but I could not fit my Monster 16 gauge wire through the pole, so I ended up having to return them. If you have 18 gauge wire or a lesser quality 16 gauge wire (mine was wrapped in a clear coated protective shield), then you may be able to fit the wire through.
