I bought this DVD, Saving Mr. Banks, to send as a Mother's Day gift. My mother-in-law loved it. Stopping at Best Buy on an impulse turned out to be a great decision and finding this DVD was the solution to my gift-giving conundrum.

I learned a great deal about the author and making of the movie I didn't know. I remember reading some of the stories in grade school, was surprised to see them made into the movie Mary Poppins. Good movie and kid friendly.

I bought the blu ray and didn't watch the movie until a few weeks after my purchase the movie is actually good. Did not realize this movie is a true story.

My family has been anxiously awaiting the release of this movie. It is a great story on the making of Mary poppins. Heartwarming Disney Classic of the future

Saw the movie in the theatre & really enjoyed it. Just toured Disney studios in Burbank in December. Fun to see where some of this film was shot.

Ppl have been telling me to see this for a while now, finally got around to picking it up. Weird that I couldn't find it in blu-ray. Very good film.

Adults will enjoy this movie as it shows how Mary Poppins the book was converted to the movie, The movie focused on Walt Disney's persistance to obtain the rights to make a very memorable movie that baby boomers enjoyed.

Very underrated movie. Hanks great as always! Our family saw it a couple years ago and enjoyed it. It was on sale and decided to add it to our huge Disney collection and own it on digital too!

It is a very interesring story , if you are a Disneyland fan I recommend this movie it's very touching.

Loved this film about Walt Disney's efforts to get the rights to film Mary Poppins. Had NO IDEA of the back story. Very interesting and well done!

It was quite interesting to see what Walt Disney and studio writers had to go through in order to win approval to make a movie of the Mary Poppins children's book, especially to be able to include animation.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I enjoyed the realistic portrayal of all involved and enjoyed the story. It made me want to watch Mary Poppins.

Based on the story of how Mary Poppins was made. Great acting and beautifully filmed and the price was definitely right.
