The device has stuck firmly to my prius dash. It looks clean and works really well with my Motorola DroidM (I purchased a case). I had a previous version from another company that clicked into my ac vent but it always fell off. This one has been great so far.

*I did my photos in a layout app to have more than two photos...ANYWAY* *SHORT STORY* The adhesive for the bottom of this device that sticks to the car stunk for about 2 minutes before faling off due to the texture, I found some left over command strips and cut them to size and they work great and are very powerful!* *FULL STORY* So I originally got the Scosche cigarette lighter magnetic plug in and it worked for about five minutes before the second I made a right turn, whole whole piece fell to the side and twisted out of the socket...so I went back to get this simple dash mount. So I was happy that it was cheaper then the other one, didn't stick out as much and I could put it anywhere I wanted...allegedly. So I tried sticking it to the top of my dash and due to it's texture it didn't stick. But also due to the adhesive..wouldn't stick again. So naturally I was upset, didn't want to go to best buy for the 3rd time that day so I turned to the scosche website to chat with a rep about my issue. I told him about how the device would no longer stick to anything in my car, and asked if they sold those adhesives separately. The man was very nice and actually mailed a second platform (bottom piece) that had adhesive on it and a cleansing wipe. HOWEVER!! It only took a few days for the adhesive to get to me, but by that time I found a second solution...COMMAND STRIPS! If you have any laying around, these are a great back up. I peeled off the old adhesive from the device and cut two strips to size and works amazingly, I did have to put it next to my stereo rather than on my actual dash but I kind of prefer it because now my phone isn't in my view of the road.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I use two to mount my nexus 7 tablet to my dash for Bluetooth streaming in my car. Stays in place no matter what the road conditions are.

Love it <3 it's amazing and holds up great!! Check the picture below in my Kia Optima. Even in those wide turns still holds phone.

Well packaged, easy to install, follow the instructions for maximum hold. I pressed firmly for over 1 minute on my dash and waited the 24 hours to use. Love this small discreet magnetic device holder! Been using for a month with iPhone 6 Plus not once has it fallen off! Bought a second for another vehicle!

I have been through every car mounts for cell phones out there and finally found one I like. The mount is nice because it's somewhat small so you have many options on mounting positions and won't look really awkward in car. Plus the magnet works really well, especially the larger of the two that comes with package, at holding my phone while driving. Would get 5 stars but if accidentally hit my phone sometimes falls off magnet but I have to hit it with a decent amount of force before it happens. Really nothing major and expected with any magnet type holder. Nice to be able to just put the phone up to holder and it just sticks without any need to adjust clamps or what not!!

got it today installed on my saab after a few mins went for a drive holds my 7' magellan gps i was really worried it was gonna fall cause it wiggles a little bit but thats normal. i think ill get one more to mount my phone.

I have this attached to the ball head of a ram-mount, which attaches to the passenger seat mount. Then I put the larger metal plate (it came with 2) behind my phone, inside the case but not affixed with the tape, so it just floats in between. Works great, holds my iPhone 6S firmly, even on bumpy roads. The whole setup looks uber-nerdy but it works!!

Was easy to mount and so far is staying in place. Problem is that the adhesive that holds the metal to the device bracket came off. Price was still right and I think I can fix the problem.

This holder installed without issues and holds the phone perfectly. I have a truck so the ride is sometimes bumpy but the phone has never fallen. It also holds steady when you push buttons for navigation.

The thing that I like about this holder is that you can put it pretty much anywhere. You can also mount just about anything on it as well. Never had an issue with my iPhone 6 Plus falling off because the magnet wasn't strong enough. It is lacking some features I would like though. The adhesive tape that holds the mount is strong but I wish it came with more so you could have multiple locations to mount the base if you want to change. I went and purchased some Industrial strength velcro and used that instead. That way I can remove it if need be and can mount it in different locations, cars, etc.

Was skeptic at first, but I love this little thing. My iPhone case has a place where I can insert cards & my ID and I can insert the magnet into it which holds really good. I connect my phone to my car sterio with Bluetooth and play music off YouTube or my iTunes. I set it on my dash so in can see what is playing and it's very useful for using your maps to navigate. This thing is way better than the ones that stick onto your front windshield which has a tendicey to fall down all the time. This thing sticks real tight too so it don't fall or what so ever. Worth the $$$ I say.

So far, so good. It holds my Garmin 2597 in place over bumpy roads just fine with on a slight shift only a couple of times (I was more worried about the car itself than the GPS) but it never fell off. It's easy to stick on your dash wherever you please, and when the GPS is stored away the mount isn't an obvious eye-sore. Overall, this is a great alternative to the stock suction cup mount that due to my heavily raked windshield makes it hard to mount low to the dash without having the cup half way up.

This is a fantastic mount. No more hassling with clipping your phone into a cradle. Just place you phone on the mount and the magnet holds it in place. I holds it nice and strong too. The phone won't fall off (I'm using an iPhone 6+). The only down side is you have to stick the included metal plate on the back of your phone. It's a very very thin plate, and they come in different sizes & colors. It doesn't matter to me because I have a case on my phone and the plate is hidden behind the case.

Found this through a YouTube video. I didn't want to have one of the bulky cradle type holders so opted for this one. Magnet is VERY strong. Is able to securely hold my iPhone 6 Plus even with the case on. (Metal plate attaches directly to your device under any case you may be using). My only advice is to make very sure the mount is where you want it before attaching. The double sided tape is very strong and you can't move it without destroying the adhesive.

Definitely worth the money, sometimes you can buy things online cheaper but this one is only a few dollars more if that and you don't have to wait for it. One of my favorite phone magnet holders ( I have several of them) . The one thing I love is the strength of the magnet, even if you have one of the large phones it will definitely hold it and it will even hold my iPad mini with no problem .Awesome product will definitely buy again

For me I wanted something that was not on the dash that could potentially block my field of vision. This product is perfect. It has a very small footprint allowing me to place it practically anywhere. I simply slipped the metal place between the phone and the case of the phone and the mount holds the phone perfectly. And there is not hassle to remove the phone from the mount. It works perfectly.

I bought this to use with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The magnets are strong and hold my phone well. It has never dropped while driving. The only issue I have is that the tape holding the mount to the dash is starting to come off but I believe it is because my dash is not completely smooth. It would probably work best on a smooth dash or windshield.

If you follow the mounting instructions. Allow it to sit overnight before 1st use. It’s the best one I’ve tried so far. Size does not obstruct view. Supports iPhone 7+ without difficulty. Drawback is that it cannot be moved once installed.
