A: The mount has an adhesive backing, but best of all the piece the adhesive is attached to molds to fir the curve on the dashboard..
Q: Does it leave a mark on the dash when removed?
A: Well, no. Your dash is made of plastic, so if there is any residue from the adhesive, WD40 or rubbing alcohol will remove it.
Q: How many metal plates are included?
A: 2 magnets, one about the size of a half dollar, and one twice that size. I use the larger one on my otter box.
Q: Will this mount work with a Rand McNally RVND 7720 (7 inch) GPS?
A: yes it works well for 7" tablets and 12" tablets as well. i use one daily in my commute to work and riding around with the family. so very very handy.
Q: How much weight can this product hold up??
A: I don’t know but I have an iPhone XS with a heavy duty Otter box and it holds it vertically, securely in place, with no problem at all. I LOVE this mount.
A: Yes I am using it for this exact GPS device, however the double sided tape in the ball mount part came apart after about 2 weeks. If it lasted I would love this mount, for now I am very disapointed.

A: Not sure but works fine with my 1350
A: You weren’t persistent enough. Ask for a manager, get visibly upset, and repeat your question, saying it doesn’t make sense, and ask them to explain to you how it makes sense to them. I got the sale price. ALSO, Scosche make the same product, labeled differently, one as a phone mount, one as a gps mount, and maybe even something else, I don’t remember, it’s been a while. Same product, different label, different price. I LOVE this mount.
