Ok but not for a car...

It did not work because it relied upon weight to keep it in place. It still slid upon quick braking and changes in direction. The same company makes a much better product for this application that fits in the air grill fins. I did keep this unit and use it as a stand for my cell phone when I am charging it.

Falls a Lot

First of all the mount slides all over the dashboard and falls to the floor with turns or stops. Second (and this is my biggest issue) I have to take off my phone cover in order for it to hold the phone at all. So the constant on again, off again is not really working for me.
